Vista Villas

Avoid at all costs! One AC didn't work in a bedroom therefore kids had to camp downstairs. WiFi was non-existent. Electricity cuts out, and there's no reimbursement for the stuff that goes off in the fridge. No ventilation in bathrooms which is why they smelt so bad. Kitchen unit doors were hanging off their hinges. Staff don't speak English. Middle of nowhere therefore hard to book a cab. Bathroom cabinet doors had stains of something that had fallen and dripped down them. Huge gaping holes in the walls where things have been "fitted" in I.e. shower rail for shower head, taps etc. Walls covered in stains from AC leaking. Private pool not so clean. Only good thing going for this place is the fact that it's walking distance to and from land of legends, which is where we often escaped to.

If your going with family and kids in particular, this is one to avoid. The villa is in the middle of nowhere only joy is that land of legends is a short drive away. the villa is surrounded by overgrown land and many many building sites. Also the long road leading to the villa is terrible and not safe to walk at night. The villa's look great on the pics but in reality they are in dire need of fixing and upkeep. Many shower handles, door handles, curtain poles, beds, drawers were broken and faulty. I opted for the villa with a private pool which was a big mistake, the pool is covered by trees so naturally daily all the leaves and insects were falling into the pool. Unlike the main pool this private pool is poorly designed and the mess was not being cleaned and filtered through. spoke to the groundsman who looks after pool and he admitted the design fault and said nothing we can do, so meant i could not use the pool throughout my stay. finally to add the wifi is terrible. i just wanted to be able to make calls in the eve via whats app but not possible usually no internet available and when there was less than 0.5mb.
