We booked this hotel through ******* on a Friday for a Monday through Wednesday stay. Unfortunately we came down with COVID. We called ******* and they said as long as the hotel would return the money, they had no issue. The hotel refused. I then called the hotel directly and the gentleman assured me he would talk to the manager and call me back. I never received a return call. My husband called the hotel again and got the run around. They tried to blame it on *******, which is a total lie. I had booked a hotel through ******* previously with no trip cancellation insurance and when we had to cancel, ******* called that particular hotel and they gladly refunded the money. We have several family members that stayed at Holiday Inn Johnstown - Downtown many times during the year, but that will not happen any more. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Very POOR customer service, no return calls, and blatant lies. Don't lie to people that have used ******* many times and KNOW it is up to the discretion of the hotel, not *******.
