Ranbanka Palace

Beautiful heritage hotel situated at a very convenient location on main road, near Circuit House. The rooms are decent size and the bathroom is modern with heritage style bath tubs. They have a beautiful courtyard where guests can enjoy al fresco dinner and breakfast (in winter months). A traditional Rajasthani music soirée takes place every evening in the courtyard during dinner time which makes the entire experience very lovely. Food is good but we experienced some issue in service. Repeat order breads took a very long time and the currys got cold while waiting. Secondly we asked the server whether ‘Ghevar’ can be made available in dinner next day, he checked with kitchen team and confirmed, but next day it wasn’t there, later we came to know that there was some miscommunication. To their credit, Executive Chef Nagendra profusely apologised and somehow arranged ghevar which was then sent to our rooms post dinner complimentary. Breakfast doesn’t have huge line up like many other big hotels have but it’s adequate. There are live counters for Dosa/Uttapam and Omelette. The servers are courteous and the service is unobtrusive. Mr. Madan deserves special mention for his impeccable service. Hotel has spa and a swimming pool also. Overall it’s highly recommended for travellers who are looking for a reasonably priced heritage hotel.

Ranbanka hotel is a little slice of paradise amid the hustle and bustle of a busy city. We’ve always found travelling in India a bit of a challenge for a few reasons: the pollution, the noise, the spicy food, and even when staying in luxury hotels, the service can be hit or miss. However, Ranbanka was a sanctuary for us. It offered the peace and quiet we cherish, creating a small oasis in the midst of it all. The room was comfortable, but it was the outdoor space—the inner courtyard—that truly captured our hearts. We also enjoyed the balcony with its little seating area, which is why I’m giving it four stars instead of five. Unfortunately, the hotel permits smoking on the balconies, and since we’re allergic to dust and smoke, this caused us some discomfort. Guests were smoking both in the morning and evening, which led to sore throats for us. A designated smoking area away from the rooms would be a sensible addition. While we were offered a room change, which was thoughtful, this should have been communicated at check-in, considering the hotel must be aware of potential allergies. There were also some internet issues, but these were resolved quickly. The restaurant staff were attentive and accommodating, doing their best to adjust the spiciness of the food for us. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Situated at heart of Jodhpur city , a place with complete Rajasthan vibe and ambience. The rooms were amazing and the staff were courteous and welcoming. Enjoy your evening’s in the pool with drinks and at night cultural program will blow your mind away
