Dieses Hotel ist ein kleines Stück Paradies mit überaus freundlichem Personal, einem herrlichen Garten mit Swimmingpool und schönen, geräumigen, sauberen Zimmern. Auch das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert und wir würden mit äußerster Zuvorkommenheit bedient. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit hier!

Ein Traum! *** fühlt sich dank des überragend netten Service wie zu Hause. Tolle Zimmer, toller Pool, ein wunderschöner grüner Innenhof und zu allem Überfluss auch noch gute Küche. Und alles ist wirklich bezahlbar. Wir haben unsere Reise geändert, um noch ein zweites Mal zu kommen.

Das Hotel ist in eine wunderbare Parkanlage eingebettet. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, das Bad ebenfalls. Ein Pool war ebenfalls vorhanden. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Fazit: Hier kann *** übernachten. Wenn möglich auch ein paar Tage länger.

Das Devi Bhawan ist eine absolute Perle. Das Hotel liegt zwar leicht ausserhalb des Stadtzentrums und in einer sehr heruntergekommenen Umgebung, sobald aber das Tor zum Hotel passiert ist, fühlt *** sich wie in einer Oase eines dicht bewachsenen Dschungels. Der Innenhof ist schön grün gestaltet und auch der Pool ist ein Highlight. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und *** fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Zimmer sind gross und liebevoll eingerichtet, wenn auch nicht topmodern. Das Morgenessen ist á la carte und lässt einen satt zurück. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen und können uns nicht ganz erklären, wieso dieses Hotel „nur“ 3 Sterne hat.

Das schönste Hotel unserer vierwöchigen Reise in Indien. Der verwunschene Garten, das nette Servicepersonal und das leckere Essen haben uns den Abschied wirklich schwer gemacht. Eine Oase der Entspannung bestens geeignet zum Auftanken und Seele baumeln lassen.

Die Gartenanlage ist sehr schön, aber wir hatten leider eine sehr unruhige Nacht, da sehr laute Tanzmusik in der Nacht bis morgen um 6 Uhr lief. Das Personal war sehr bemüht - konnte uns in der Nacht aber nicht helfen. Auch das Bett war sehr alt und bei jeder Bewegung knarrte es laut. In der 2. Nacht sind von Zimmer 12 in Zimmer 22 gewechselt. Dort war das Bett besser. Aber auch in der 2. Nacht lief Abends in der Nachbarschaft sehr laute Musik. Wenn seine Nachts Ruhe braucht, sollte besser ein anderes Hotel aufsuchen.

Devi Bhawan has over 20 rooms but you wouldn't know it with the clever garden design that screens the different buildings and provides calm and privacy to the hotel compound. Lots of private places to relax. We had a standard double, and shared a balcony with travelling companions - handly for evening cards and drinks. Our room was sufficiently spacious for our big load of luggage. The bed was a bit hard for my taste, but bearable for a few nights. The bathroom was in generally good repair (some issues with the cabinet our a friends' room) with a roomy walk-in shower. We loved the marble flooring in the room - great character. The attractively landscaped pool was well used. We had breakfast and dinner at Devi Bhawan and enjoyed both - although we ordered better the 2nd night. The food was good, not great. Wine was a bit hit-and-miss (do as others did, and bring your own). Staff were friendly and helpful, but some terracotta chai/lassi cups I'd saved disappeared after room servicing. In India, they're thrown away, and I assume the staff thought they were rubbish, but they were on a bench, nowhere near the bin.

Great experience at the hotel! Very comfortable rooms, the food was nice and service was good. Kudos to Mr. Jaypal and Mr. Bhanwar Singh for making it a comfortable stay. Location was also very good, property is lush green and right in the centre of the city
