We stayed 2 nights in this nice guest house. The owners are very nice and helpful. Our room had a view in the Nile - which was of course great. Well located to visit Jinja and then return the a quiet and safe place. And on to of that: probably the best pizza in Uganda!

A world away from the bustle of Jinja town but just down the road. Beautiful setting. Staff couldn't be more helpful, neither could the owner (Surj). Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Take the time to chat to Surj - a fascinating individual.

A group of us traveled to Jinja for 15 days in October 2024. We were working hard daily and are so grateful for a wonderful place like Surjio's to come back to each night. Not only were we comfortable in our spaces , the food was great and very accommodating, but it also was a kind community to connect and relax. The location was a little tropical oasis just off the main part of town with an amazing view of lake Victoria. The staff was helpful and kind in all they did. I would definitely return and stay again. Thank you!

Surjio's is a relaxing, friendly, and peaceful place to stay!! The beds are very comfortable, and our rooms had everything we needed. We had every breakfast and dinner here and the menu is versatile and delicious!!! The owner and staff are very conscientious and friendly!! I would definitely stay here again!!

What a wonderful oasis when visiting busy Jinga. Located near Lake Victoria the quiet location was very restorative. The owners and staff were very attentive to details making the time there relaxing. We are foodies and loved the food. The pizza was delicious but some of the off the menu items were exceptional. The butter chicken was one of the best we’ve had and the Ethiopian doro wat was great. For birders, this is a great location and we added quite a number to our life list. A well done to Surjios and many thanks! We hope to return ♥️

Such a warm welcoming place! Surjio and his family and staff take such good care of the guests. I feel very safe and comfortable there. I have stayed two times and will be back! The pizzas and desserts are excellent. Laundry service available.

The outstanding service, guesthouse and restaurant was top notch. It’s not like being in the states, so to find a place that is warm, inviting, beautiful would be hard to find if not recommended. The owners are so accommodating and made our stay seamless and so welcoming. It’s a must stay!!

Our family of two adults and grown up daughter had a lovely three night stay at Surjios. The rooms were large with thoughtful furnishings and comfortable beds. Ours had balconies overlooking Lake Victoria which was beautiful. Surj and Danyne were very welcoming and knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting to them. Their staff served us diligently and we felt very safe and well looked after. There is a beautiful garden and pool and a good choice of food- we recommend the banana peanut butter milkshake! It's also a short walk to Jinja high street and the lake front.

The most incredible hosts and hospitality! Food was delicious. Setting was beautiful and serene. Highly recommend! Make it a destination! We took a team there and stayed a week. Grateful for such personal care. Definitely returning! Thanks to the amazing hosts 🤍
