Small and tidy dog-friendly cottage on the canal:For those of you who are looking for a place where all the furniture is new and everything matches, this is not it. Instead, we have a boat dock, 3 kayaks, and an outdoor shower and grill. A public boat launch is just around the corner (Please contact me if you wish to launch a boat. I will have to get a permit for you.). We also have a deck for outdoor dining, gathering with friends, reading a book, watching the birds fly by, or fishing and/or just watching the fish. Our house has a renovated kitchen and bath upstairs, along with 2 bedrooms: one queen and one double. There is another bath downstairs (connected to the upstairs with an outdoor staircase), with the laundry and an extra bed (twin). The downstairs room was a golf cart garage but is now a multi-functional room. Both the laundry and twin bed are elevated due to water fluctuations in the canal, so a step stool is available! But guess what?! You are right on the water, and that is lovely! AND, more to the point, a short drive of 1 mile gets you to the the beach (Gulf of Mexico) and all the sand, shells (maybe) and saltwater you would like!Read more here if you are interested in knowing more about the area and things to do. Three kayaks and life vests are provided with your stay! If you prefer to keep your feet on dry ground, grab a drink and one of the many provided fishing rods and try your hand at catching flounder, trout, drum, or any other of the many fish species that live in the canals. Or, grab one of the provided crab traps and toss it in! There are many blue crabs in the canals.The pool area, of course, is the pinnacle of home and ground zero for relaxation and fun. The adjacent dining tables have space for up to 10 diners, and the kitchen bar provides space for another 3.Corner Cove has 4 bedrooms that are set up as follows: (1) master bedroom with king-size bed, pull-out futon, and en suite bathroom; (2) guest bedroom with queen-size bed, as well as a separate bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top; (3) a guest bedroom with a full-size bed and pull-out futon; and (4) a guest bedroom with a queen size bed.
