A converted family tower home in Limeni seaside village provides accommodations, food and ambiance. Once inside the stone fortress the busy outside world disappears. The sound of the sea lapping up on the rocks make the sometimes busyness of the village disappear. All of the nine room looks out to the water and our room ( number 9) was right above the rocks. The weather was changeable but we managed to eat most meals on the spacious and shaded terrace overlooking the sea. The (included) breakfast selections: eggs cooked 4 different ways, Greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts, fresh fruit, vegetables, French toast, homemade breads and jam, fresh squeezed OJ, vegetables, cheeses, plus coffee anyway you like it…I could go on. Afternoon and evening meals are only for hotel guests should they choose to eat there. Absolutely fresh fish, local vegetables, traditional Greek dishes are on the menu. The furnishings were simple and elegant. Flowering plants and trees against the stone walls made the inner courtyard feel like a garden. The rooms had all the modern conveniences one wants. Design, art, linen, furniture are all local or Greek made. The toiletries were by Korres, a Greek natural skin care company. The owner is a terrific host and we felt like we were guests in his family home, which we were!
