Every time we visit we wonder why we don't get here more often. Beautiful spot, beautiful landscaping and a generally chill vibe. Hang out on the "Island" by the pool (accessed via footbridge) or lie in the hammock in the "Jungle". Islamorada is our favorite spot in the keys and Casa Morada is our favorite place to stay when we are there. Highly recommend!

From check in to check out the stay was amazing as always. The staff were super sweet and the scenery of the facility promotes such a tranquil environment it is hard to not be relaxed. I love this place, it’s the perfect get away for a staycation if you live in the keys. Thank you Casa Morada and Staff.

Very relaxing. Beautiful place. Love how the pool area has the perfect view of the Bay. They were very accommodating to all of our needs and very helpful. We had a 25 ft boat with trailer and were able to put in and keep in water during our stay. They even had parking for the trailer. Our room had the outside shower and we really enjoyed using that. Very clean and well taken care of. Everyone was so nice as well. Of course, the yoga and water aerobics was a bonus!

Beautiful grounds, nice room, good breakfast. Felt more like an airbnb/condo rental, with continental breakfast and maid service - than a hotel/resort. Great location. Was very hot when we were there - but very comfortable in the rooms..

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from Key West, and it was a wonderful find. It’s a small and cozy hotel right on the oceanfront, and everything is kept spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is included, and our room was spacious, made up of two separate rooms. The only downside was that it got a bit warm, and the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted. A delightful bonus for me was the friendly cats around the property—they’re very approachable, and one even visited us in our room!

The most peaceful, magical place ever !! Impeccably clean and the view from our room was like a postcard. We are sad to leave it but can’t wait to come back ❤️. The quietness, the kind staff, the closeness to the water just adds to the amazing time we had for our 17th anniversary trip.

While the resort was clean & beautiful- staff very friendly and responsive- the room descriptions on the booking site did not match to what the room actually had. We booked the wildflower suite, which said it included a jacuzzi tub & microwave, but had neither. Staff told us the resort was under new management. Additionally, the temperature control was locked & unable to adjust which we didn't realize until the middle of night when it got too warm & couldn't adjust temperature and no fan to circulate air & no staff on site at that time to contact to unlock. Expectations were definitely not met & would likely not book here again sadly based on the temperature control issue alone.

We have now stayed twice at this boutique hotel. Our first visit had us staying in the garden view Jungle Suite which has a spacious private outdoor deck, great views and separate indoor jacuzzi tub. This time we chose the sea view Starfish Suite, with amazing views and an open concept bedroom off of the living area. This entire resort is very private, tranquil and is managed by pleasant staff. They have a beautiful island pool, and self service outdoor poolside bar. Both times we participated in a free garden yoga class offered on property. This property is ideally located in walking distance to a few waterside restaurants and bars, a quick car ride to some upscale restaurants, and a nice bike ride (provided complimentary) to anywhere on the island. Both times we stayed at Casa Morada, we met friendly couples who engaged in pleasant conversation around the pool and boathouse bar, but respected your privacy. Breakfast is self serve complimentary on a second level patio by the water. The hotel offers in-room massage service, but we recommend you walk across the street and visit Blue Bamboo Salon and Day Spa for a special treat.
