Three Waters Resort and Marina, Islamorada, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

The resort is stunning, beautiful decor and lovely friendly staff .But the food is truly awful, extremely limited choice , very heavy Latin influence. No catering for allergies or specific dietary needs. Or children.Very little seafood. No steaks .Main restaurant is going to be food truck dining! Yes a luxury resort with food truck dining, terrible idea . Lots of stuff for families to do as long as you eat offsite as the menu is not child friendly. Agree with previous comments regarding bins in the rooms , too small. Not enough room for ladies toiletries around sink area , needs a shelf in the bathroom. Need more towel hooks and a buffer to stop the bathroom door slamming against the shower glass. One reading light ? Why ? Will be a lovely resort if someone rethinks the food plans and redoes the menu

The resort had a soft opening a week prior to our visit after undergoing an extensive renovation and rebranding. The hotel is GORGEOUS. We pretty much had the place to ourselves due to the recent hurricane that hit central florida. The staff were fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The staff at the restaurant, pool, water sports, concierge were all top notch. Chef Tori came out from the restaurant to introduce herself. The rooms are comfortable spacious. Just a few minor criticisms that I think are helpful since the resort just opened:1. please allow guests to lower the AC cooler than 68. This is the coldest mine would go, and for sleeping it is still a few degrees too warm for me. Especially when you have the wonderful thick blankets. 2. Bathroom needs hooks and towel bars by the sink. There is no where to put the hand towel. Only 2 small hooks by the shower. A hook on the back of the door would be helpful as well. 3. larger trash can in the bedroom please

We had a terrific time at the new Three Waters resort. Most impressive was the staff! It was like they were trained at Disney World! We were greeted everywhere we went and welcomed with offers to help. The service was exceptional! A shoutout to Chris in Recreation for going above and beyond!

The pillows were nice and fluffy. The hotel was nice and beautiful. George was a wonderful host. They just need to put more microwave ovens in all the rooms. the hotel does have a beautiful view. I would love to return again and have a longer stay.

We just returned from spending three nights at the Postcard Inn for a friend's wedding. There were so many things wrong with the property, I'll list them in bullet points: - The front desk staff, although nice enough, were clueless. When we asked them a basic question about why we needed to check out after two nights and check back in for our 3rd night, they literally stared at me with no response. It was straight out of a SNL skit. When I checked out for after the 2nd night, I had to resubmit the registration forms again and give them my credit card. Guess what, my wallet was in my safe. I got the deer in the head lights stare again when I asked how was I going to produce my cc when I was now locked out of my room...fortunately I had my phone and used Apple Pay...I'm not making this up. - The hallways were filthy and full of trash, mustard packets, toilet paper, sand, etc. They weren't cleaned up for two days. I can't believe one employee didn't pick up the trash as they walked by. The hotel grounds and common areas were fairly clean. - Our room needed a renovation and thorough cleaning. The flooring was cracked, the ceilings needed painting, the water pressure and temperature vacillated anytime a neighboring room flushed their toilet. Our room wasn't cleaned for the first two days. The room smelled like mildewed, sour towels. We didn't have a top sheet for those days either, until I asked. None of the housekeeping staff spoke English. It was difficult to even ask for a towel of tissue...I finally found some on a cart. - Be warned, and not the hotel's fault: the sargassum seaweed bloom is for real. The beach is covered in it and the water is full of it near shore. - Service note, our friends hosted 76 people at their wedding. I estimate they were responsible for ~$80,000 - $100,000 of revenue for the hotel. When they asked for a late check-out on Monday so they could say goodbye to friends, they were denied. Finally they were given a one-hour delayed check-out....very generous of the hotel. - We were charged a $40 per day resort fee.....hmmm, this is a rip off. - The service at the Tiki Bar was slow and unfriendly. The pool bar service was better. - Ciao Hound, I'll write a separate review, but beware, service is sloooow and the servers untrained, food is mediocre at best. To sum it up, I felt like I was back in Ft. Lauderdale on college spring break at a seedy hotel...yes, I'm dating myself.
