Sanco Inn Iseshi-Ekimae Shikinoyu
"Very nice location, lots of eating place to choose from around the hotel. The room is clean with lot of space. Good breakfast included as well. Recommended."
EN Hotel Ise
"The hotel is located not far from the station, and there’s a supermarket nearby. Within a 10-minute walk, there are some small restaurants, but be prepared—they’re too small to comfortably fit a family. I have two major complaints about the hotel: 1. The booking didn’t mention that parking spaces are limited and not managed by the hotel staff, so anyone can park there. We arrived from Tokyo and had to use a paid parking lot near the hotel. 2. At breakfast, you have to wait in line because tables are cleared very slowly. You come down for breakfast and end up waiting about 15 minutes before you’re seated. 3. There’s no way to adjust the air conditioner temperature—only the fan speed. The room was very cold, and you could easily catch a cold."

"Rental car parking space was used by another but the hotel cannot find the driver."
Comfort Hotel Era Ise
"Clean, nice and staff are friendly. Breakfast good. Just pillow not enough. Maybe should provide 2 pillows instead of one. Very easily access to Iseshi ststion"
Hotel Castle Inn Ise
"Ich hatte keine hohen Erwartungen, weil der Preis niedrig war, aber das Zimmer war sauber und verfügte über Annehmlichkeiten, Yukata-Verleih und ein großes öffentliches Bad im 12. Stock. Im ersten Stock gab es eine kostenlose Getränkeecke und Verkaufsautomaten sowie einen Supermarkt vor dem Hotel, sodass ich eine angenehme Zeit ohne Unannehmlichkeiten verbringen konnte."

"I took my elderly parents on this trip as a way of showing my gratitude, and they were both very grateful for the hospitality of all the staff, and were pleased that the food they received was better than they expected. Seeing their smiles made me glad that we chose this inn."
Ise Pearl Pier Hotel
"The location is excellent with sufficient parking space. If you go by train the Kintetsu station is also nearby. There are also some restaurants nearby so meal is not a problem. Definitely recommend when visiting Ise."
Hotel Castle Inn Ise Meotoiwa
"Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann zu Fuß nur ein paar Schritte zum Strand gehen und ist ganz in der Nähe von Couple Rock."

"We stayed in a sea-view room, which was spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding; attention to detail was evident throughout. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water—a relaxing soak after a long day was incredibly soothing. The hotel was very quiet, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast was plentiful."

Oishiya
"The people who work at this ryokan are amazing. Every person we encountered was genuinely friendly, polite, and committed to making us feel at home. Ota san was exceptionally sweet and attentive . She greeted us when we checked in, cleaned our room, and served our meals. Her smile was the best part of each day. We appreciated her kindness in using her English skills to help us have a comfortable stay. Oishiya is a beautiful, traditional ryokan that offers public & private baths (no reservations needed) and is steps away from the sea. Imagine waking up and being able to gaze at the sea from your bed! Kaiseki meals (breakfast & dinner) were incredible - delicious and beautiful. Though we stayed for 3 nights, the meals never felt repetitive as they switch dining rooms and courses each night. We appreciated the drivers who will regularly pick you up and drop you off at the bus or train station. Their timely and courteous service allowed us to enjoy Oishiya's peaceful location while still having access to other sights in the Mie prefecture. It was a perfect stay! Highly recommend staying here."

"I saw that they offer bicycle rental service on the internet, so when I checked in I asked for a bicycle to go to the Naiku Shrine, but they said that reservations were not possible. When I asked for a bicycle in the morning, they said that they could not rent one for sightseeing. I asked to use it to go to the convenience store or nearby places. (This was a conversation at 6am.) I wish they had told me that the day before. In that case, I asked for a taxi, but they said that it would not come until after 7pm. I asked if I should have made a reservation the day before, but they said that reservations were not possible. It would be difficult to go by bicycle last night, so I wonder why another receptionist asked me if I wanted to make a taxi reservation? It's a mystery. In the end, I decided to walk. The room was the cheapest type. Although it was old, the toilet and bath were clean. The picture on the wall directly above the bed was completely covered in dust, and I wish it had been cleaned. Unfortunately, the bath is only for men. I felt that there could be some kind of measure, such as a time system or shifts."

"Idong City から Unerwartete Begrüßung り Die Eisenbahn ist nahe, aber kein Geräusch. Es gibt einen Laden vor dem Essen im Zentrum. - Das ist ein Gepäck. Das Frühstück ist japanisch und westlich. Mit der Zimmerkarte auf den Elefanten. Sicher. Das Zimmer ist groß genug. Der Benutzer verwendet unvorhergesehen (aus し in れ frei) im Autobahnhof ist り"

Auberge Yusura
"On the second night of our 5th wedding anniversary, we stayed at this Japanese auberge that my wife found for us. The 5 villas are limited to 5 groups per day, so it's very private. The beds were twin, Simmons (the same as ours), Japanese-style, and the newest and largest room, "Keyaki," had an open-air bath and an indoor bath at the famous Sakakibara Onsen, but we had to reheat the water. Everything in the refrigerator is free (・∀・) Nice!! Although it's along Route 42, "Keyaki" is at the very back, so it was very quiet (it was raining that day, so we only heard the sound of the rain) and we could only hear the two of us. *The only drawback of the room was that the glass door to the open-air bath, which is a little further away and across the garden, could be opened in the opposite direction. Every time, we entered from the garden without opening the door. Before dinner, we took a leisurely soak in the open-air bath ♨ It felt like we were always in hot springs (lol) And then, the long-awaited dinner. Usually, when you think of an auberge, you think of Western food, but this was Japanese food prepared by someone who trained in Kyoto 😲 We ordered our favorite abalone steak kaiseki 🐚 We made the usual toast with an aperitif containing gold flakes, and then we ordered a unique beer called Neko Nihiki (two cats) 🍻 We also ordered sake. Appetizer: Softly simmered abalone, accompanied by freshly drawn yuba and grilled sea urchin, a nice dish Appetizer: A plate filled with anago chawanmushi, scallops dressed in zunda paste, etc. The anago chawanmushi was really delicious, and of course the scallops dressed in zunda paste were delicious, but the tableware was also amazing 👏👏👏 Soup: Thin kudzu sauce. The mild flavor of the sillago, winter melon, and grilled eggplant matches well with the richness of the sake. Sashimi: Natural flounder, tiger prawns, black abalone, garnish. My favorite black abalone is marinated in abalone liver soy sauce. It's just irresistible 👏👏👏 Appetizer: Eel decorated sushi. I think it's farmed, but it's so yummy~~~ Grilled dish: The long-awaited abalone steak. It can't compete with the black abalone steak from Baysut, but abalone is still so yummy~~~😋 Rice dish: Wakasa sea bream simmered in oroshi. The sea bream is a great marriage of grated daikon radish and dashi stock. The final dish is corn rice, red clam soup, and pickles. For dessert, they included a message for my wife 🙌 As expected from someone who trained in Kyoto, everything was lightly seasoned and it was a wonderful dinner 👏👏👏 For midnight snack, we had sushi rolls 🍣 For breakfast, the charcoal-grilled seaweed was delicious, and the rolled omelet was GOOD. We weren't allowed to have extra seaweed 😥 However, considering that it is an auberge, the breakfast was extremely cheap... One thing that bothered me was that in the evening and in the morning, even when they saw the empty bowls, they never said "Shall I have another one?", but the landlady was working really hard so I guess it all washed out (lol) The landlady was working too hard so I was a little put off 😅 But overall it was a wonderful inn (人''▽`)Thank you☆"

"The meal was very delicious."

"Excellent stay near Iseshi Station (2 minute walk). The staff can speak some simple English, but they have all the important information in different languages in an excel spreadsheet. Breakfast was delicious and time was flexible (you choose the time at checkin)"

"After my retirement, my husband and I took a two-day trip from Saitama to Ise. The female staff who was in charge of dinner and the head chef who prepared the evening snack were very considerate. I was able to take a relaxing bath in the bath attached to my room and in the large public bath, and was able to heal my long-term fatigue. It was a good memory for both of us. The welcome and farewell service upon arrival at the hotel was wonderful. This is my wife's second stay and my first time staying at this hotel, and I would definitely like to stay there again if I go to the Ise area."

"Being a onsen ryokans lover travelling through Japan these years, this is the worse which I have visited. It's pricey but not even provide what usually hotels are offering free, i. e. Tooth brush & paste, extra Yen 1,000 if you want to choose yagata with much better color rather than TVusing their regularly provided. Only 1 room key provided, refuses even you requested for one more key for convenience when both of us want to enjoy the public onsen separately aand freely. During dinner, we had ordered extra beef and were told it's Yen5,000, but when we checked out, it's Yen6,050 because of SERVICE FEE on top of Yen5,000 +Tax 10%. And the staff was annoyed to explain why there was service fee. Running a onsen ryokans is tough, but shouldn't be this lousy way. This ryokans group is the worse and I will definitely avoid."
Somin-No-Yu Hotel Seikai
"The facilities are old. I stayed in a corner room, but the Wi-Fi only worked if I was near the entrance. It was Obon, so I was prepared for the price to be high, but Dinner was chicken hot pot (less meat), rice, clear soup, pickles, thick rolls, steamed white fish with a sweet sauce, all-you-can-eat tempura of two kinds of vegetables and thin shrimp, three kinds of thinly sliced sashimi (squid, flounder, and tuna), and watermelon. I've stayed in many hotels and ryokans, but this hotel had the biggest difference in price between the two. I was very sad."

"Das Gesamthaus fühlt sich gut, der Service ist gut, die warme Qualität ist gut und entspannend, aber die Anlagen sind etwas alt und beeinflussen das Gesamterlebnis und können nur mit Barzahlung bezahlt werden, hoffentlich kann es aktualisiert werden."
