Priority was a decent Hotel, as close to the East Gate of Ruaha National Park as was possible, since that was the next Stop (and a lengthy & tough drive it proved too). Room - Tick. Very decent, Large spacious comfy with en-suite bathroom. Sitting area, fridge, kettle, coffee table, magazines etc. Ground floor, but series of steps up & down to get there - this Hotel might not be so good for Clients with Mobility Issues, so we would commend asking first (some Rooms a lot easier than others). We arrived here quite late in the afternoon, having driven down from Dodoma - long and quite challenging due to the number & pace of some quite sizable trucks scaling and descending those hills on the A.104, tired, filthy and thirsty. Priorities were ablutions, then cold beers and some Dinner. Lamb Curry, Skewers and Chips hit one nail, and the cold beers proved easy. All whilst seated on their Deck facing West watching a gorgeous stunning sunset. The temperatures dropped dramatically after dark, so their offers of a brazzier or shovel full of burning embers beneath ones derriere was both welcome and well-received. Simple breakfast in their typically Tanzanian Dining Room, checked-out and headed for Grocery Shopping - grief Iringa main road was/can be hectic.
