Very helpful lobby staff. I had a broken foot. The lobby staff was very caring and helpful the wheel chair was partially functional. Hotel should ensure that facilities for disabled are functional

Hey, i am a fellow traveller from hyderabad and here’s my candid review about sarovar portico 1. Price - i made my booking for one night and triple occupancy for the basic room without breakfast. 2. Service - exceptional service by the hotel staff. The front desk upgraded our room by 2 levels without asking for it. We were extremely tired and fatigued from our trip and this was a very lovely experience other staff also very cordial and helpful 3. Property maintenance - its an old property and that surely is visible as soon as you enter the place. I think they should consider renovation. Rooms are hygienic to a great extent, one would ideally not have complaints 4. Complaints - if i were to nitpick, it would be that 1-2 stains in the bathroom that bothered me and how the pool has no depth. The mattress was broken and it was a very painful sleep that night. Mattress has to be of high quality final verdict - if you get good discount like me, totally worth it! if not, consider something else

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, booking two rooms, and was disappointed. While the location is convenient, everything else was subpar. One room’s AC wasn’t working, and after multiple technician visits, we were moved to another room, only to face the same issue. Maintenance is clearly lacking. The second room had a pillar in the middle, which was odd for a chain hotel. The biggest letdown was the buffet breakfast, with a very limited selection—unexpected for a hotel of this brand. Overall, not worth the stay unless improvements are made.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and did not reflect its star rating. Upon arrival, I was initially shown to a room that had clearly been used and was not properly cleaned. After contacting reception, the staff refused to acknowledge the issue until I shared pictures of the room. Even then, no separate key was provided for my new room, which added to the frustration. The next morning, while in the shower, I discovered that the dispensers were empty — no shampoo or shower gel available. Breakfast was equally bad; the buffet food was not replenished, and when I asked, the staff argued that it was enough. I also ordered a dosa, but it never arrived, even after waiting 20 minutes. Overall, the experience was far below expectations and certainly not worth the rating. I would not recommend this hotel.
