The place is simply over-rated because of the forced/prompted review by their staff. It’s not at all a worthy stay. The least thing which you expect in Munnar would be hot water and clean rooms. They lack both. You would expect a worthy luxurious rooms and resort feel. But, the rooms are just like a budget stay facility in an incredible location. Even the DTH was not recharged. Simply, a holiday trip spoiled and money wasted. Have seen other guests making similar complaints while checking out. Even the bed linen was not clean. The room had stinky smell. The staff are good & courteous, but can’t help in fixing the complaints of the ill-managed property. If you are with kids / elderly people think twice before you book. Suggested not to opt any rooms on the left side of the resort, right side ones provide you a resort like feel, while the former ones are isolated and hard to climb the steep slope.

Superb location...it's in cadamom plantation...amidst of nature..well made cottages..good and prompt service...food was good...not much vegetarian options in buffet...go for cardamom plantation walk early morning..just 300 m from this resort is their adventure park with zip line and natural cave ..it was superb experience....

We had worst experience in this hotel in my trip to Kerala. First the wifi doesn't work, then we were staying in two different rooms and in two days, first day in cottage and second day in Jacuzzi suite. While shifting the luggage from one room to another they broke my brand new bag, however the Manager Srijith replaced the bag but it was a local and cheap one, we just agreed to it as we had to leave for Mumbai the next day. We were just out of this horror and requested the hotel for a early breakfast next morning as leaving at 7am in morning, we were told that they will give us bread butter and cut fruits in the morning. To our Suprise we were given bread in a foil and butter and jam in separate container without any butter knife and no cut fruits . To which I told the reception, that why haven't you made sandwiches of it and given us cut fruits, following this restaurant staff Azim was called to make us answer to this situation. He told that we have a rule not to make sandwiches and cut fruits was not informed and he was very argumentative in his talks, to which I told him who has made this rule?, if thr GM I want to to meet him or talk to him.Also told him Azim is not capable of working in hotel management companies, as to however bad the amenities maybe, the services and the warmth of the hotel always win over , Anyway I was getting very late and left the hotel in a hurry without our b/f. This is the worst hotel I have stayed into. Me and my wife hailing from Hotel background will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Guests traveling long distances have no room or parking for the driver accompanying the guest What is the safety of the guest driver has to sleep inside the car without giving room to the driver who is driving a long distance?Dirty bathrooms and parking are what you're paying for, which is a threat to many diseases

Beautiful resort with cottages and natural beauty. All staff are courteous and welcoming. The food tasted good The room is nice with an open terrace. Although room cleaning can be more improved. Lots of pests in the restaurant crockeries. Towels and bed linen are over used and are smelling bad. Dinner served was cold and was mentioned to the waiter and receptionist but was of no use. No Supervisor or Manager in the resort to speak with the guest and resolves their issues. No service recovery was offered. Gujrati Receptionist was pushing to give an excellent review which is embarrassing. She just wants an Excellent review but not a genuine review.

Overall it was a good stay but there were a couple of notes that we were unsatisfied with. Firstly, the wi-fi did not reach our room and the second was that upon checkout we were forced to leave a review for the hotel. The individual at reception was rude and said that "we must leave a review right now". Then he himself ticked 5 stars on my phone and stood over me agressively to make sure I post it. This is not reflective of good customer service and made me feel uncomfortable and pressured. It also makes me doubt the authencity of other 5 star reviews on here. He also attempted to charge an additional 10% to the final bill as we wanted to pay by card, we refused to do this as this was not communicated to us prior. Other staff were lovely and welcoming. Views were nice, check in was great. Breakfast was allright.

We stayed here for new year weekend (Dec '22). The service was extremely poor for the entire stay of 3 days. We were promised a spa with discount but when we booked the spa , it was cancelled at the last moment. The new year eve dinner charges were exorbitant and still had very limited options for vegetarians. The food and desserts also got finished by 11pm while the dinner timings were 8pm-1am. Moreover, given the charges - the celebration arrangements were not upto the mark. The DJ refused to play song requests and played only south indian songs - even though most of the crowd was north indian. Seems the party was organized just for the local staff and not for the guests. Also, the cottage that we got was starkly different and of a smaller size than the one we paid for (video shown while booking) And above everything, we had to plead the staff for cleaning the room. Our rooms remained uncleaned for 3 days. The rooms started stinking and yet no one came to clean it till we went and spent enormous amount of time complaining to the manager. The hotel doesnt have enough staff to manage the place. There is just one person to clean the entire resort. Overall a huge disappointment. Would strongly suggest not to book this place if you are looking for a peaceful stay and even the most basic service.

Not a 4 Star Hotel at all. We had very bad experience. We booked hotel through MakeMyTrip but we will never recommend it to anyone. Their rates are very high during the weekend and on MakeMyTrip. Staff is good but property is off beat. This hotel is approximately 16 km away from Munnar town. They don't understand English well. Their rooms smells badly. Initially they upgraded the room and gave us the room with the balcony but that room was smelling awfully bad. So, we asked and then we changed our room. Restaurant is horrible. They don't know how to cook food. They tried to prepare a Jain Food but very very bad in taste. Biggest problem is the communication and very far from the Munnar. Weekend is very busy with the local crowd so you don't feel comfortable. People travelling from North should avoid staying in this hotel.

The hotel is on a mountain and they have a facility of dropping you to the room in a Vehicle. My mother in law who has knee problem had to wait for 1 hour before they told that the vehicle will take more time. Had to get her all the way walking. The Vehicle was busy dropping their own staff within the resort. So staff is given more priority over customers. We had booked 4 rooms out of which 1 room was handed over to us 2 hours late. Reason given was staff is having lunch. Dinner is included in package, but more than 75% of the items are not available. As I write this review it’s 3:15 and rooms are not yet cleaned.
