I booked thins room based on pricing and the 3 star rating. I wish I would have spent a few more minutes looking at the reviews. If we were not exhausted from the drive and had not booked a non refundable room with ******* we would have left. Check in was way too long. One lady working the desk and it was very backed up. I’m sure it was not her fault she was understaffed but she seemed out out the entire time. Our room, ick. We ended up in a handicap accessible room which in itself was fine. The condition of the room was not. At first it looked okay, but then we noticed things. The toilet seat was so worn the white was gone in places and it was just exposed wood. We had to line it with TO to use it and the room only had 1/2 a used roll. There was some sort of partly painted over thing on. The wall that might have been an old outlet or hair dryer (there was not one in the room). There was a small coffee pot, but no coffee-no cups-no plastic cups in protective covering. Only a dirty empty tray in the bathroom sink. When we got back to the room at 1030 I noticed lipstick on the duvet cover and tossed it to the ground, where I found an empty bottle of someone else’s juice on the floor by the nightstand. The shower curtain was also full of mold. I picked this hotel also because of the pictures (from the hotel- should have looked at review pics) and it was nothing like it. The drink refrigerators in the lobby completely empty. The full breakfast was a couple slices of bread, old cereal that had been there who knows how long, and sketchy looking waffle mix. Came here for freshman orientation at SHSU. Parents, do yourselves a favor and do not stay here.

Absolutely terrible. There was blood stains on my pillow, comforter, and on the wall in the bathroom. There were roaches on the floor and a big leak underneath the sink. The halls and elevator were extremely eerie and the lights were dark and flickering. Not to mention the whole hotel smelled like pot. Room looked as if it was not cleaned at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

DONT STAY HERE!! The front desk lady was horrified, she was rude and didnt greet me as I walked in. She was on her cell phone though the whole check in process for a second I thought the cell phone was glued to her ear. Not kidding she never let it down. I asked her when she give me my keys that didn’t I have to pay I wanted to pay cash. She said you out a credit card yes that was only to hold it . I told you I wanted to pay cash. She said your good your card was approved. I said no way that card has been expired for awhile she said no it was accepted. I’m like ok that confused me . So for a minute I thought ok maybe I did use the a good card. Well at around 4 am someone came to our door and put a note under our door for us to see the front desk because my card didn’t go through. So we went to get breakfast in the morning and spoke to them I asked to speak to a manager and the front desk clerk said I’ll pass the message that I wanted someone to talk to . They didn’t call me for the next hour we was there . So we went back up to check out and they called the manager which was nice and said they will talk to the night check because they have had several complaints on her before. We went for breakfast and that was a joke nothing there that was worth eating. The bed was so uncomfortable it had wrinkles in the bed spread which I couldn’t understand why untill we got into bed. It was the very thin and old mattresses pad they had. We will never stay here again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! If I could give ZERO stars I would. It was absolutely awful. From the start the front desk girl was friendly. But as soon as we got to our room, it quickly turned awful. Our curtains were barely hanging on the window which caused the bright lights to shine in the windows in our face ALL NIGHT LONG. And anyone in the parking lot could see into our room. There was no WIFI. Went to shower and there was one towel for me and my husband to use for two days. Went to the front to ask for another towel and the girl told me she didn't have any more. WHAT?!?! The signs to the rooms with the numbers on them were falling off and laying everywhere in the hall. The breakfast was a joke with literally nothing there. There was no small items in the front to purchase like most hotels have. Cooler and shelfs were empty. When I checked in, I was never asked for an ID. And they ended up over charging me. There was no hot water and the floors in the room were tacky and gross. On Friday night there were people and their children running and screaming up and down the hall at midnight. Then they finally went into their rooms and keep laughing loud and screaming. Oh and the icing on top, My husband and I were there for the 100 mile race. We booked Friday through Sunday. Check out was noon. We went out Saturday morning, and came back halfway through the day to our card not working. The girl at the front desk said "Oh its a new day, we have to reactivate it." UHH WHAT? I've never heard that. Then Sunday we had packed up to get ready to leave when the front attendant came through at 9:30 stating that she was leaving and would be back at 11 am. We packed all of our stuff but wanted to check the room one more time. Guess What, our cards had deactivated again when we had been using them all morning to bring our stuff to our car but as soon as she left at 9:30 our cards weren't working again. What kind of hotel locks its customers out of their rooms 2 and half hours early?? STAY AWAY.

If I could give this property no stars I would, I needed wired internet access and the front desk guy was nice enough to let me try different rooms. The rooms were dusty like no one had cleaned them in a long time, curtains were pinned together with a thumb tack needlessly to say the stay was paid for but while I was trying to get wired in to the internet the team lead decided to cancel my whole stay without my knowledge or consent. It has been a nightmare for ******* to try and get a hold of someone so they can verify the people. I’ve been emailing their general manager email and no response it has been almost 2 weeks. Horrible customer service!

If I could give a zero for a review I would. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was quiet and the staff were friendly. With that being said here are all the problems. 1. no soap in the room 2. no batteries in the remote control 3. remote control never worked even after getting batteries 4. no water pressure 5. no hot water 6. mold in the bathroom 7. the exterior is run down and not kept up 8. breakfast was a joke 9. tried to charge my card to much for the stay 10. the carpet in hallways was bunching which made it a hazard

Toilet disgusting, mattress on the pullout couch is stained, hair on the bathroom floor. Only one lady to check everyone in, took over 30 minutes. Also breakfast, nothing but cereal! Same lady that checked us in also did breakfast!

one guest said it best "the Bates motel", side door no lock/no key card box just wires hanging out of the wall, did not feel safe. Lobby dark, chandelier had old style fluorescent bulbs, some flickering, some burning out. My car and the desk clerk's car was the only one in the parking lot. Left after fifteen minutes to another hotel. Paid through *******, they were not able to contact the hotel to confirm check-out so did not get a Refund.

The room was the only good part. However horrible experience. First thing I notice the hotel looked Empty, the parking lot was empty closed off by trees, front sliding doors were not working I had to pull open. Walked in noticed there was no ac it was warm, everything was bare, rang the front desk bell and a lady that looked like a guess came from back. I checked in went to room which looked pretty nice and normal. Elevator was a little iffy, side door was propped open lock busted off. Morning breakfast consisted of make your own waffle and iffy OJ. I left for the day came back to a hotel with no water. Made a complained and the lady claimed her supervisor was in the mountains and she could not contact. Bottom line this place is not legit. If you have kids stay else where if you need just a bed then it’s a place for you.
