Fellow travelers, do not stop here! We didn't look at the reviews first, so if you are seeing this, consider yourself lucky! I don't care how late it is, how tired you are, do not lose your money to this hovel! This is a franchise business with a District Manager who refused to talk to customers, and the Manager will proudly defend the hotel, even though it would never pass a quality assurance inspection IF this hotel was actually accountable to those standards, but again, it's a franchise. They can have zero standards if they so choose. They have 2 whole housekeepers and no standards for housekeeping or customer service. We were in 2 different rooms that were both filthy. We had to ask the desk person for a vacuum so we could vacuum our own room, which was covered in toe nails! The room we moved from due to the smoke smell and burn holes also had melted gummy bears on the floor. In both rooms, my shoes were practically squeaking on old filthy carpet. We had the thin, worn out stuffing of a duvet for a blanket, so it was a rough night, just trying to get a little sleep before getting out of there as early as possible. We talked to the Manager about a refund, who informed us that the District Manager doesn't even talk to customers anymore, and she's the one who told us they only have 2 housekeepers for the entire hotel, which would explain why so many rooms are not done, HOWEVER, I would like to know what the local Health Department has to say about selling dirty rooms. They were adamantly opposed to giving us a refund, and I figure this must be how they make most of their money. Don't lose yours! Sorry I was too much in shock to snap photos of the burn holes on our blanket and ourselves with the vacuum, but I did get the toenails and gummy bears.
