So ein Tratt. Magisches Wald gehen bis zu kleiner Wasserfall. Fülle von Waldvögeln. Ich wollte nicht gehen. Danke Sue und ihr Mann Ant für die warme freundliche Willkommen ! Wir würden gerne zurück sein und die vielen mehr Wanderungen und Radwege genießen."

"VERY over priced. Coffee - only 2 sachets provided. No option of tea. So either have one before bed or the morning!!! The only form of toileties, was a little round soap in a wrapper and an empty plastic bottle with a label stating "shampoo". Not even hand soap at the basin or a hand towel. Single ply toilet paper looked like rats had been at it. Mats in the bathroom had holes, as did the spare double/queen sized blanket for the single bed. No hairdryer. Electric blanket did not work and temp was around 3°. Thank goodness I had taken my hotwater bottle. Had 3 mis-matched cups, glasses, plates etc. Floor rug could do with a wash. Curtains are really thin and don't block out the lights from outside. Only 1 2-pin plug point in the room. There were various notices stuck with prestick on the walls indicating Rules, Tv guide, don't feed dogs, no smoking etc. Why not put all in a little flip file all in one place?? The single bed was comfortable and there was hot water for a shower. Location is good but needs loads of TLC. Don't think I will be going back any time soon."

Die gemütlichen Möbel wurden für einen entspannten und komfortablen Aufenthalt gemacht. Die in der Unterkunft lebenden Katzen waren willkommen und hinzugefügt zu dem heimlichen Gefühl. Die Rügel, Bücher, Schach und Pooltisch, machten uns wünschen, dass unser Aufenthalt für länger war. Das Frühstück war schränkend. Was für eine Behandlung war es dort zu bleiben"

"Die Aussichten aus dem Treetops Zimmer sind erstaunlich. So viele verschiedene Vögel im Garten. Obwohl im Juli mein Sohn ein paar Schwimmen im Pool genossen hat. Das Zimmer hat alles, sehr komfortabel. Wir werden definitiv empfehlen und wir werden sicher zurückkehren, wenn nächstes in der Umgebung. Liebe es."

"I have had a love affair with Rawdons since it opened in 1956. Through many changes it is still my go-to place whenever means and circumstances permit. This time my husband and I celebrated a birthday and a wedding anniversary and stayed for 3 nights. Our room was simply gorgeous, looking out onto the velour lawn and the lake in front, rose bushes to the left and fuschias to the right. We didn't want to get up off the padded seat in the bay window. My husband would have liked to take the shower back home! The staff were unobtrusive, dignified, competent and obliging. The grounds are in immaculate condition and an unending joy in every direction. We loved the 'private' pool area. Breakfast was indeed the proverbial fit for a king. I got the impression that the maintenance of the outdoors is of more concern than that of the rooms. Our beautiful room had three stains on the carpet, two missing screws to secure the opening windows, damage to a support strut under the table (a piece missing) and a big hole in one of the magnificent curtains. None of which detracted from our enjoyment of our stay. I was quite reluctant to leave and could have happily stayed for the next three nights."
