Best Court

The idea is cute but the execution is poor. There is a difference between neat and clean. The room was neat but it was not at all clean. Someone needs the check up on housekeeping. First - floors were filthy. I don’t think they had been mopped ever. Our socks were turned a disturbing shade of brown. Second- there was a thick layer of dust on window sills and ledges. Third- the refrigerator was full of the last guest’s takeout and there were flies in the room. Would not return.

We visited Hot Springs for three nights as part of a longer road trip. We drive a tall camper van and so needed a hotel with regular lot parking close to town. Best Court fit the bill! Parking was free and safe. The room itself was basic, but it had everything we needed and was extremely clean. The location was also very quiet. The garages between the rooms meant we never heard any of our neighbors, or much of anything else outside for that matter! On top of that the place is just adorable. There were a few minor downsides: We did not have cable like was advertised and it never got resolved. Housekeeping does not come during the stay, which is fine, but we were told to put our garbage on the porch and it would be taken. It never was. There also seemed to be some confusion as to when the Best Cafe (attached to Best Court) was open so we never got to go. However, those inconveniences were minor and we would definitely stay here again!

Updated 30s style motel. The motel was built in the 30s and is a long walk/short drive from bathhouse row. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was very comfortable. The location is far enough from the center of town that the evenings are quiet. The chairs they have are some of the most comfortable I've sat in. The couch had some small stains that look like they had tried to clean, white fabric for a couch shows any stain easily. The office is only manned 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at check-in so not sure how a problem would be handled. They use a mini-split for cooling so be sure and read the hotel book on its operation. The book in the room is great for letting you know about the area as well..

Forget the chain hotels! These "cottages" or"courts" (as in tourist court) are unique & far superior. They are from the 1930's but only the outside facade & walls remain. The insides have been totally gutted & remade to modern standards. Big room. Fairly large bathroom. Has Cuisinart double coffee brewer, microwave, fridge, & own water heater, a sofa, a table & 2 chairs, and a desk with chair. Laminate wood floors. The queen bed was comfy & extra blanket if needed. Do wish the pillows weren't quite so hard & would "give" a little bit more. The manager is very nice & did everything in his power to make our stay pleasant & without mishap, including extra coffee, TP, & helping us adjust thermostat. There is a restaurant attached but it was closed while we were here & was rather expensive. So...we bought Jimmy Dean & put in fridge for microwave next morning since we like to eat & drink coffee before getting dressed & going out for the day. This place is a definite keeper!

I'm a bit of a hotel snob and wasn't sure about staying at a "motel". I'm glad we decided to give Best Court a try. The accommodations are literally perfect. Everything is newly renovated so the bathrooms, flooring, decor, etc are clean, modern and spacious. The front porches are so cute. We had a huge rain storm when we first arrived, and it was fun to sit on the little porch and watch the rain pass through. The parking is free and easy. The attractions and restaurants are close by. It was a great little stay in Hot Springs.

This is truly one of the best places we've ever stayed and we travel a lot. INCREDIBLY clean and well maintained. The location is wonderful with the cafe just on the property and it is a 20 min (or so) walk to historic Bath House Row, but due to lots of tourists the time we went, we chose to drive. The rooms were VERY spacious and had all we needed. NO carpeting in rooms and everything is just like the photos Management (Matthew) was so very helpful from booking to arrival and during our stay. He has a wonderful, kind attitude and truly seems to enjoy his work. He truly was one of the reasons I chose to book this stay. We had no complaints whatsoever and would very much love to go back anytime! We sat out on the porch in the evening and early morning. Felt like we had traveled back to a time where life was not so hectic. If it gets too crowded in town, drive just a quick 20 minutes and go to Lake Catherine State park for a quiet, beautiful hike or simply walk by the lake... Best Court is THE place to stay in Hot Springs!

The BEST!! We just spent 3 nights at the Best Court Hotel and enjoyed every second! We were a little apprehensive because it’s not located downtown but we were so happy to stay there! The rooms are freshly renovated and well decorated! Extremely clean! The Best Cafe located at the front of the motor court hotel is AMAZING!!! We stayed in one of the smaller queen rooms but it was still spacious and well appointed! What a lovely find! Would highly recommend and look forward to returning! The Best Court is the BEST hotel in Hot Springs!

This hotel was extremely clean and adorable. It seemed that it was recently remodeled. We stayed in #6. It had two queen beds, a love seat, fridge and table and chairs. Each room has a little front porch with a bench and the garage has been made into a seating area with two chairs and a overhead fan. You can open the garage while sitting out there. Breakfast is not included, but there is a nice little cafe right in the motor court. It was very clean and the lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Best Court if you are visiting Hot Springs.
