Located one block back from the beach at the Southern end of town. This relaxed place is a good base for exploring the area. There is car parking at the front of the property for anyone with a car. Rooms are an eclectic mix of different room types, we chose a first floor balcony room with ensuite. Although quite basic, everything works and there is a good shower with hot water. Downstairs there is a relaxation area, and they also provide free of charge bicycles and beach chairs if required. Only slight downside is the location is a good walk of around 15 minutes to the nearest restaurants, although there are a couple of breakfast places within close proximity. There is also a small breakfast area in the room with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee filter machine and some cutlery.

Having made a direct reservation and paid in advance, we arrived at the end of the day to be told by the manager while waving paperwork in our face, that “someone else is in your room”The manager had no grasp at all of the implications of having double booked our room and seemed not to care less that we had just arrived in a small village that we didn’t know at all, with very limited accommodation options and it about to get dark. He was totally unapologetic, offered no explaination and made it very obvious he just wanted us to leave. He then reluctantly called the owner who had an even more appalling attitude, rude and totally dismissive of the problem caused entirely by their inefficient admin system, just saying they would refund us so where was our problem?He was adamantly unwilling to offer assistance to help us find somewhere else to stay or make any suggestions and when asked if this was a reasonable way to treat a guest said, “you are no guest of mine, have a good evening” and put the phone down. I have this call recorded. Unbelievably unprofessional!

Great place to stay, I stayed in one of the beach apts. and felt like I had my own private beach. The room was clean and comfortable, the area was very quite and relaxing. Emma made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The option of breakfast every morning is a nice touch, just be sure to save a tidbit for Emy. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to just relax and let go.

We stayed with Ingrid for three days in mid April it was so relaxing we didn’t want to leave. Ingrid & Emma are so friendly and helpful with anything you need; we had a fantastic breakfast each morning that Emma made for us. Emma has two motor bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside there is so many places you can visit and everyone is so friendly they make you want to come back again and again.

Comfortable guest house with a nice family room, mountains of pillows and very handy for the beach. Bicycles to borrow. The hotel manager, Junior, went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and was a wonderful help in resolving a problem with our car tyre.

A truly Belizean experience! Great location with the beach across the street. Rooms are clean & comfortable, the shower really good. A nice patio for chilling with a book. The staff is friendly & for $10 Celia washed, dried & folded our laundry. I highly recommend this guesthouse. Not American style but has a great mellow vibe.
