We stayed 2 nights in a deluxe coastal double room. It was a good size, and comfortable, but a little dimly lit (yellow bulbs) with only a small pair of windows, and dark-ish painted walls and ceiling. The room also had flaking paint and marks on the walls in places. The large bathroom seemed more modern, possibly more recently re-vamped. The (expected) sea view from our room (room 15) was 50% obscured by the thatched roof of the building in front of the pub, alas. The floorboards in the room above us seemed to be really creaky and noisy, very loud (and the occupants seemed to be moving around from early to very late). There was also quite a lot of noise from outside, from people sitting at the outside tables in front of the pub and vehicles delivering to the pub, or to adjacent businesses. The public car park adjacent to the pub costs £6.25 per 24 hours via Ringo. No car parking is available at the pub. Breakfast was very good. We didn't have dinner at the pub, so can't comment about this. It seemed very busy both nights, however. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, quite reasonable value for money.
