Marine Surf Waikiki 10th Floor B

I was very disappointed with my experience. Based on the reviews, I had higher expectations. The unit appeared old and poorly maintained, in desperate need of repairs. The bathroom smelled of urine and mustiness. The slippery tub was not very safe. On the positive side, parking was free, although the spaces were narrow and challenging to maneuver. The location in Waikiki was convenient, close to everything. It was a nice touch to have amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler bags, and beach towels. However, the poor condition of the room overshadowed these positives.

The location was perfect for walking everywhere - the beach, Ala Moana Shopping Centre, restaurants... The size is just right for a couple or three people. We had a perfect view of the fireworks the first night. We had a slight issue with our unit and Niko was extremely receptive and helpful. He wanted to fix things right away, and he did!. The description states there is noise - and there is - however it stops at a certain point in the evening. You can cook in with the kitchenette and sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. It's a perfect little home away from home. And very clean!

WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND- We expected to stay in beautiful cozy apartments and but instead we were met with an extremely hostile and irate owner and less than satisfactory apartments. In the end, after politely calling the owner to ask for toilet paper and being met with an explosive response and an unauthorized and forced entry into our unit while we were still there, we had to call the police in the evacuate with the unit. I've NEVER experienced such a poor place and was highly disappointed by this unit and its owner/ management. Don't believe the kind and encouraging front this place is NO GOOD. Very thankful for the neighbors that heard this event and came over to help afterwards, Airbnb support and the local police.
