The front desk workers were very friendly. Housekeeping was good each day.

Very nice place to stay!

We stayed for one evening while attending a wedding. The staff is okay. They definitely aren't welcoming, but they're not quite rude either. They seem to be doing just enough to keep their jobs. The room was fairly small and sparse. The only chair in the room is for the desk. They need a couple places for suitcases or foldout suitcase stands in the room, since there's no closet. The room did have a mini-fridge which is always nice. (The picture attached is the entire room, except the bathroom.) The bathroom was an average size. It had just a shower, and one single sink. Not much space on the countertop for makeup and other items. Not much room for two people to use. The breakfast was all pre-packaged items. The only "warm" items were Jimmy Dean egg muffins/biscuits. They had small muffins, bagels and granola bars. They also had coffee and juice. Not very filling or exciting, but I guess it's enough to get you going on your way home. I would stay here again for another short stay. I'm not sure I would stay for a longer stay, since there's no where to sit except on the bed.

This was no frills at its finest. We had a power failure at our home during a heat wave and needed a cool place to sleep. Tried the Hampton next door, but they had no vacancies. The registrar recommended the Avid and said it was a little cheaper. The room was spotless. We had two king beds that were quite comfortable. The TV was a 55” and the hotel’s channels had what we wanted. The room had a small fridge and a microwave. The HVAC quietly maintained the selected temperature. The breakfast was prepackaged items including cereal, muffins, and breakfast sandwiches. Avid gave us good value.

Charged double with no viable explanation. No coffee maker or microwave. “Cast” internet function on TV did not work & receptionist refused to fix. (If you want to be “minimalist” at least make the “minimal” work.) Almost all breakfast options were high fat & sugar. Fridge can’t adjust & stuff froze & was ruined.

This was the first time I'd ever stayed at an Avid hotel. It's a newish, minimalistic hotel with rather small, but serviceable, rooms. The room was fine enough but the prepackaged breakfast was disappointing. There were no vegetarian sandwiches available and nothing else looked appealing. Checkout took forever since there was only one person trying to maintain the breakfast items and man the front desk. I probably wouldn't stay here again.
