Five stars all day long, Staff were fantastic, Room was fantastic, Food and drink was Fantastic. Definitely worth booking you won't be dissapointed. Large car park and disability friendly. Close to beach and attractions. Morecambe and Lancaster just a short bus ride away

Wonderful accommodations, very clean rooms and welcoming staff. We had a terrific evening meal and the beer garden was an enjoyable place for lunch or drinks. We would highly recommend The Royal to anyone visiting this area. Very friendly.

This is one of the best inn experiences I have had. Everything about this place is charming. The photos on their webpages are accurate depictions. Half the building is a "pub" with absolutely delicious restaurant and quaint bar. The other half features the rooms, which were spacious and attractively decorated. The tea, coffee and cocoa presentation in the room was adorable. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is historic and quaint, and very close to a walking path on the beach as well as a community garden and churchyard. 5 minute walk to the bus stop and 25 minute walk to the port. Near a public park where we watched a Sunday cricket game. The staff were very cordial and professional; I was temporarily stuck on the Isle of Man due to ferry logistics and the staff were easy to reach and respond by email to extend my stay an extra night. Overall, the value I received for a mere 160 pounds per night vastly exceeded my expectations.

A deliciously tasty lunch at a cosy historical pub. We really enjoyed the food, the hospitality the atmosphere and the history of the place We will go again on our next visit to Heysham old town and look forward to it PS. They cater for vegans!!

Our small cycle group have an annual round trip to Heysham , usually stopping for lunch @ The royal , this year we decided to pre book our table , booked over the phone which was very straight forward , on our arrival we were greeted by Phil who was absolutely brilliant , very friendly humours guy , recommended to us some very nice local beers , as always the food was excellent , staff even offered to re planish our water bottles for return journey , 10/10 and see you next year

A nice old hotel in a quiet part of Heysham village. Situated a few hundred metres from the coast. A short walk will take you up onto the headland with a panoramic view of Morecambe Bay towards the Lake District. Comfortable rooms and a fairly large car park. Food was good and the service exceptionally quick. Advisable to book a table though, as restaurant appears to be popular with locals and there do not appear to be any other restaurants within walking distance. Both inside dining areas were fully booked and we were offered to eat in the small bar area, but it was full. So ate on outside patio, which is pleasant in nice weather and has its own bar.

This is our 2nd time we have stayed here . Welcoming . Chatty . Receptionist . Room was excellent . Every thing you needed . Booked for evening meal . Food was of a high standard and was lovely . Staff were very nice . Landlord was very friendly . Breakfast was great everything you expected . Definitely returning !!

Food was tasty - generous portions and presented well, pub manager welcoming, Lauren, waitress polite and attentive. Nice background music and decor. Been twice in the last six weeks. Well worth a visit. Spacious indoor and outdoor space.
