Red Roof Inn Hendersonville

I travel to Hendersonville often and have tried this hotel SEVERAL times giving them the benefit of the doubt over and over but not anymore. I highly recommend you avoid it. I was put in room 206 and many of the TV channels are not working. I have stayed in this room before a year or so ago and had to be moved to another room because the TV wouldn't work. The message on the screen says call the front desk. I did that and the lady showed up at my door. She didn't speak English and couldn't understand anything I said. She never fixed the TV. It was the one night that I had time to relax and catch up but they don't care. This is an AI hotel. You book online and take care of yourself but don't expect to speak with a human.

Overall this was an okay stay. But there were things that were off the mark. We had a room with two beds and one of the beds had no pillow cases on the pillows. Odd, but we asked for them and got them. Sheets on my bed were stained, but when I noticed the stains it was after 9:00 p.m. and just didn't want to deal with it. The towel bar in the bathroom had been moved and there was old plastered over areas that had not been painted and looked bad. Our key cards would stop working too. Again odd. The staff at the front desk was annoyed that we had to get the cards renewed and basically blamed us for the problem, and this was the same staff person that had her cell phone up as loud it would go and was having a conversation in Korean I think, all while trying to check us in. Rate for the room was good, below what most everyone else in the area was charging, so that was good. Outback Steakhouse right in front of the hotel too and an easy walk to get to it. Again, overall okay, just off on a few things.

Roaches everywhere. Families of them in the bathroom, under the refrigerator, under the bed. Everywhere! The room two doors down was being fumigated. Noisy room. I could hear EVERYTHING in the adjacent rooms. Smoke detector was removed. The room was dirty. We had to bag our clothes so we didn't take the bugs with us. Easily one of the worst places I've ever stayed at.

This is an older hotel...room was adequate except for a very loud air conditioner...Heidi at the front desk was very responsive to our needs which we greatly appreciated. The cleaning staff does a good job. The hotel is at the end of a road which means no drive by traffic.

The first thing I noticed was the rooms were much bigger than other red roofs we have stayed. Room was clean. There was doggie poopie bags. We walked our dog. There is a wonderful steak house next to it. Proximity to the interstate is good. The not so good, nothing on the breakfast bar. There weren't enough people there to have one. The front desk person was nice but didn't know anything abt the area. The housekeeper got our towels. It took some doing to get towels replaced as we were left with 1 bath, 1 hand, and 1 washcloth. Basically this is a really good motel. The price is awesome for the room size. There should be more business here.

I have been coming here for many years but this trip to the Red roof inn wasn't up to par. I would have given it a one star due to two girls at the front desk, Heidi and the other girl refused to give me her name. Upon check-in, Tanya did an amazing job as she was multitasking and everybody had a smile on their face while waiting to get checked in behind me. The girl that refused to give me her name was upset because I went down at 4:30 in the morning asking for some decaf coffee. She put two on the counter and went back in a room and shut the door. The next morning was even worse when Heidi was working as she yelled at me and said this hotel has no decaf! I told her it was a white packet with green that said Italy on it and she went into the dining area and started opening all the drawers pulling out blue packets of Maxwell's coffee well yelling at me and slamming the drawers shut. It doesn't take much to put a smile on your face and if it wasn't for Tanya and her amazing ability to do this job, I would have left for another hotel. I will come back but only when Tanya is working! She went above and beyond for every client that was at this hotel when I was.

A dump and a flop house. We’ve stayed in the past years as we visit a friend nearby and it was ok. Now it’s a discussing dump and flophouse for parties and ***** I would guess. Cigarette butts pilled up everywhere outside. Hose bib pipe was leaking by our room with moldy dirty trash filled water on sidewalk we had to step over. A Spanish crew was staying on other side with door open, cases of beer on ground, loud music playing pretty much the whole evening. The room was deteriorating, dirty, towels stained, floor old and sticky. My wife’s clothes smelled when we left. The place is disgusting. We’ll never stay again.

Walls in rooms need painting, and definitely needs a deep clean, fridge was so loud I had to unplug it. And if anything goes wrong don't expect much from management. Was kept awake all night by a fighting couple across the hall with yelling, crying, doors slamming....front desk clerk (who was very nice and helpful) felt horrible and put in for a full comp and manager said my trouble was only worth 15%. Wont be back.
