Upon arrival at Xingyi International Apartments, I was met with a fellow guest struggling with a malfunctioning air conditioner on a hot and humid day. The staff offered no assistance, raising immediate concerns about the property's management.
Checking into my room, the air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest temperature, only managed to produce slightly cooler air than the already warm room. Additionally, the room had stained walls and a lingering cigarette smell despite my request for a non-smoking room.
The final straw was the bed, which felt like a springless mattress or a half-deflated air bed. This issue, along with other reviewers' complaints, indicated a disregard for guest feedback.
Within 30 minutes of arrival, I requested a checkout and received a partial refund through Trip.com. Thankfully, my booking was short, as the property enforces a strict no-refund policy.
Given the poor quality of the accommodations and the lack of responsiveness from staff, I urge Trip.com to reconsider advertising this property. It significantly damages their reputation to promote such subpar accommodations.
