Liz Hotel is very close to the B1 subway exit (approx 3 minutes) and Guangzhou East Railway station. It is also very convenient to get to the airport via the subway. The subway station is connected to Po Park, a massive underground mall.
The customer service is very helpful and polite. We were able to use Wechat to communicate with a direct contact, 张洛, and it made communication extremely easy.
The hotel offers breakfast (extra cost), and we opted for breakfast on a daily basis. The food was quite delicious, and they also have robots that help deliver food to guests' rooms. (Sadly, we never used it, but we have seen it everywhere).
Our direct contact sometimes came to deliver fruits and late night snacks to us, and it was extremely kind and thoughtful of her. She was only a Wechat message away, and we always felt like we were looked after.
The hotel also has a self-service laundry room (with detergent provided) and a gym on the fourth floor. Guests do not need to go elsewhere to get their clothes washed.
The room is very clean, and the bed is very comfortable.
NOTE: Due to the huge number of guests, sometimes the wait for the elevator can be quite long, and there can be a short wait for a breakfast table at peak times (9am onward).
