Midtown suites had Horrible service, they hung up on me twice, when I was just asking for someone to check the room for a missing item. Make sure to leave nothing behind, they will be absolutely NO HELP, you are on your own. Also the pillows were the size of small square couch pillows???

We are not picky hotel stayers and I understand renovations are being made but reno does not have anything to do with cleanliness. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was great, but it is now called Midtown Suites and we will not be staying here again. The first room they sent us to smelled horrible, so they transferred us to another room. The second room was dirty. (Socks in the floor, used qtip in the bathroom, disgusting shower floor.) I hate having to write the review but dont want others to make the same mistake I did, thinking that I was coming back to the same hotel I stayed in in the past.

They didn't make our bed, it had old pillow cases with no sheets or pillows.on top of that they left the dirty sheets in the chair. They did not clean the bathroom at all, they left bars of soap in the shower floor and dirty towels/rags in the corner. This was after us waiting 30 minutes to get into the room. 0/5 stars

The hotel is definitely an older hotel but it was in very good shape. They have renovated many parts and are currently renovating the breakfast area. No issues with dust or noise at all. Checked in a little early with no issues. Front desk was great. Friendly. Hotel has one elevator and it wasn't an issue. Ample parking. Great location away from the noisy main road. Our room was great! Better than anticipated. Lots of room. Loved having a full refrigerator with an ice maker and so many cabinets to put stuff. Sink was great. The cooktop was beat-up and the elements were crooked but we didn't need it so that was fine. (the coffee maker on counter is our own. We travel with it) There was a regular coffee maker which we didn't use. Microwave was new also. Bathroom had a walk-in shower which we loved. Water pressure in shower and sink in bathroom was very weak but it wasn't a deal breaker. Had a nice dining table with two chairs and a large flat screen TV. Only real complaint is the carpet. It really needed to be cleaned, not just vacuumed. It was pretty dirty. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Before I go into details I do want to say that the person at the front desk was kind enough to comp our stay due to the inconvenience. When arriving there are signs saying “their remodeling” despite this the hotel looks well kept when you first get there, however, the hallways smell old and musty and a faint cigarette smell. The room was not properly cleaned, the towels were stained and the room didn’t look like the pictures at all. The shower was stained yellow and a dingy red on the corners, plus there was hair in the shower. The blinds didn’t completely black out the light coming into the room which didn’t allow us to get a good rest. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again but grateful for the person at the front desk who was understanding and did refund us.

I booked this hotel as a one night getaway for my family and based on the reviews I gave it a shot. After checking in to my room I opened the refrigerator to find trash left in it (papers remaining from cases of drinks). Then to make matters worse the amount of noise and door slamming that went on through the night was disturbing for us all. I even saw one of the tenants smoking outside of his room. I will never stay here again! A complete waste of money

Check in was great and the clerk was friendly and explained everything in detail. Upon getting to the room (#211) it seemed clean and basic in nature at 1st glance. However, when pulling back the top bed covers to inspect the bed, found 12 inch x 12 inch brown marks in the center of the bed. How the housekeeping staff missed or just ignored this is amazing and unacceptable. The front desk was contacted for clean sheets and the 1st set brought to the room was still damp/wet and not able to use or lay on. Went down to the front desk to get another set and confirmed they were dry. Changed the bed ourselves. Also, the removable shower head would not completely shut off. Not just a drip but a continuous stream of water. Had to leave it laying in the tub so the "waterfall" wouldn't make sleeping impossible. This makes one wonder what other shortcuts are being taken. Made the front desk clerk aware of these issues upon checking out the next day. She said she would make a note about the shower head issue. And regarding the "other issue", she said "sorry it bothered you." I didn't ask and she didn't offer any compensation. If this is the type of quality or lack thereof for My Place, I made a mental not to use or recommend this brand for any future travels. Also, makes me wonder why this My Place has such inflated reviews.

My wife went there. She was told when she check in that they were giving her a quiet room. Not so. Apparently the owner's very young children live in the hotel, and in a room exactly next to the "quiet" room my wife was given. The place was dirty. Apparently guests have to sign a paper saying that the hotel is not responsible for any damage in the parking lot. Have you ever had to sign such a thing. I never have. Apparently the crime rate in the neighborhood of this hotel is pretty high. IN the ned my wife left early and got ******* to get her a refund from the hotel.
