Princess Senses the Mangrove Resort - Adults Only

My wife and I, and another couple of friends, stayed here in January 2025 and had an absolutely great experience. We stayed in the over water bungalows. They were fantastic. We couldn't get to all of the restaurants, but for dinners we did Dine at the JamRock, the Pearl, Roberts Flame, the KA teppanyaki, and the Platinum Restaurant, all where fantastic, delicious food, and great service, they put on a very good show at the KA, definitely a must. Had lunch at various other spots, and I never had a bad meal anywhere. The bars where all great, very friendly bar tenders, are absolute favorites where Ally(trouble) and Delhard at the Euphoria swim up bar, Chris and Jessica at the Oasis Swim up barm, Dante who we saw all over the place was great, and Riccardo up in the sports bar was second to none on making old fashions. For the Platnium upgrade, for us, we loved it. The Platnium Club Manager Sakeyar (Ms Dixon) is now part of our Family, she goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. As far as the Butler service, we had Jermaine,Kade, and Evon. Navaudo, who was another butler, we didn't have him, was right there with the 3 we did have. They, too, are now part of our family, absolutely went above and beyond anything we expected, and those 4 and Ms Dixon have left an ever lasting impact in our lives that we will never forget. Chevauna, who checked us in and out, was also so nice and helpful during that process. I don't think there was a single bad experience while we were there or met someone who was even a little bit rude. They were always doing different things to keep you entertained, I think there was always something there for every guests, the beaches were groomed every morning. The pools were a little chilly but not unbearable by any means. The ocean was warm, and it got warmer at night when the tide came in. A suggestion for people to travel there is to take a lot of $5 & $10 bills for tipping. They also love getting $2 bills from the states. We will without a dought be going back to this resort in the future. Wasn't overly packed, but we still made plenty of friends and a load of memories that will never be forgotten.

Booked a last minute long weekend at this gorgeous new resort for my 50th birthday in an overwater villa. First I must shout out to the driver who picked us up at the airport and took us back, Kevin! He was amazing! We hope to return and have him as our guide. Getting to visit with him on our drive was the perfect way to start our trip! The resort was beautiful and new, overwater villa was fabulous and the food at all of the restaurants was wonderful. We had a fabulous time but did have a few disappointments. It was my actual birthday and after reading many reviews here, I expected our butlers to be on top of it but they really dropped the ball. Nothing “special” until night when my husband finally asked them why they hadn’t done anything for my birthday. And then, we waited outside while they decorated the bed that we were about to get in. Too little, too late. Also, the butler service was really slow. We’ve had butler service before and it never took over an hour to get a drink or 2 hours for breakfast. Hopefully they get that worked out because the place really is gorgeous and we’d love to return but it’s tough to pay for 5 star service and not receive it!

So the ambiance is breathtaking also the service has been really great , food is delicious. The only downsize is that the resort is low in occupancy and there's nothing much to do but Ashley from Entertainment made my stay top notch if it wasn't for her I would be in my room dying from boredom. Its a new hotel and yes there is alot more that needs to be done but if the service remains the same it will become number one in the Caribbean.

First up, I am not a travel agent, blogger, influencer etc. This stay was paid for by us as a vacation, so it will include the good stuff, as well as the disappointments. I don't normally drop reviews, but as the place is only recent, and most reviews I've seen so far are from travel agents and others in the industry who would have had a gilded view of their stay, I wanted to give an guests POV. Length of stay: 6 nights, 7 days from Dec 26 through Jan 1 Room Type: Princess Overwater Villa with Infinity Pool Overall, this place was great. Food, drinks, vibe. Was just what we needed. Was everything perfect, no, but the great far outweighed the disappointing. As we booked our stay before they were open, we did get a good price. Looking at future pricing, it definitely going up. Would we stay here again. For the price we paid (~$10k/week) for overwater villa. Without hesitation. For the current full price listed ($4k/night). We might hesitate a little bit, and wonder if we might instead find another new location to experience. Neither my partner nor I can remember when we were ever this relaxed at the end of a trip. The Room: Was absolutely gorgeous, and the pictures did not lie. Bed was absolutely comfortable (firm, my preference). Room was spacious with a lounge, and a small bar. Bathroom was huge, with a large tub, a shower, double sink. The shower also had a door to outside which included an outdoor shower. Even better. Outside deck was perfectly situated to catch the afternoon sun and relax all afternoon. I should point out, about half the villa decks face east, so they would get mor morning sun, while the other half (which included ours), were more to the west. Given the location and how the villa was set up (#13), we had almost absolute privacy on the deck. No other guests in the nearby villas would be able to see our deck while walking to or from theirs. Unless some kayakers / or snorkelers roamed a fair way out, we were able to enjoy the deck in absolute peace. If relaxing in the water as opposed to the pool is your preference (sea water was warmer), then take water shoes. The sea floor was rocky and uncomfortable under foot. The Vibe / Pools The adult side was well below capacity given it has only been open a few weeks. I doubt there were more than 30 couples at the resort during our stay, which made everything relaxed, no wait when at bars or restaurants or by the pool, and perfect for trying to relax. When this place picks up, then it may be a much different vibe, especially with the prime cabanas being sought after, and likely reserved by butlers for their rooms from early in the morning. During our stay however, there would have been enough cabanas for every couple so no stress on that. 3 large pools on the adult side, plus the Platinum pool above the lounge, and the pool on the terrace outside the nightclub (a hidden gem with a great view). We stayed at Princess Senses of the Mangrove Adult Only Platinum Section. We had a fantastic experience and will surely come again! Firstly I’d like to thank Ashley of sports and entertainment. She knew I was going thru a rough time. On her own time she made me a multi page card full of wisdom and prayers. Thank you and I am doing fine. Our butlers Dennis and Alexia who provided everything our hearts desired plus surprises and catered to use with a friendly smile and positive attitude. Travis the lifeguard watched over us and made sure we had everything we needed. At Europia pool bar Ali, Dillard, Itamore and O’Neil were very friendly and knew what what we wanted before we got to the bar. They were fun! Tajay the fitness instructor was very friendly and helpful. The Platnium dinning is a delicious experience. With the talented Award Winning Chef Johnoy in charge with every detail cover provide suburb dishes and would even cook you something special if you asked. He and the other kitchen and table service, Reilly, Annmarie, Troy, OShane, Kimono, Asheka provided for us perfectly. I sorry if I missed anyone. The Platinum bar above the dinning room was fun and enjoyable as Clyde made it that way! I want to that management and staff for a lovely And unforgettable experience!

The hotel is outstanding and service fantastic, however the hotel was half empty so it will be interesting to see whether this continues once near full. Restaurants were great bar the Mexican the steak house offered wagu steak for 95 dollars but it wasn’t wagu so just be careful what your paying for. Keron the sommelier was just the best and offfered and gave suggestions for all wines, he just worked non stop! The entertainment staff particular Riley and Eric were just the best! They made our holiday so enjoyable with their energy and commitment to make guests have the best experience ever! The rooms were insane, huge rooms and so clean. There were a few bits of the hotel that needed finishing but it did not impact on our holiday at all. Everyone we saw working there had a smile on their faces and were the most friendly people we have ever encountered at a hotel. Can’t wait to go back
