Super 8 by Wyndham Great Bend

I brought a college baseball team up for the night. It was a great experience. The staff was all very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was one if the best I've ever had at a hotel. Amazing.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was an office chair to sit in. Plenty of electrical outlets. Breakfast choices included biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast, peanut butter and jelly. Staff was all friendly and helpful. No smoking in rooms is excellent.

One if the worst Super 8 motels I have stayed in. Breakfast was not good and most of the staff including the manager was very rude. I was not even allowed to speak with her about my concerns. Holes in the wall. We stayed for 6 days and never had the room serviced when requested. Hope they get it figured out. The potential is there with the right staff working there, and a better manager.

OK place. Clean room. Easy access to lots of food options; Wal-Mart across the street if you forgot anything. One block off the main street, so it's pretty quiet as well. Breakfast kind of disappointing. Not much to it, seems like the milk was a little off. Waffle machine wasn't turned on, and it wasn't obvious that the batter was in the fridge.

I was nervous since this was a cheaper option, but it did not disappoint! Rooms were clean. Price was one of the cheaper options in town, which was a wonderful bonus!!! Breakfast was lacking in options, but there were a LOT of options and drive-thru's all around the hotel, so no problem there. Very happy with our stay!!!!

Great property, very modern. Good location with ample parking. Walmart just across the street. Walking distance to several restaurants.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms/comfortable beds, very bright/lit parking lot and good breakfast in AM. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. We used our Farm Bureau member discount so the room rate was very reasonable.

It is an old motel granted, however, the furniture was stained and rotted. The lock to the door would not bolt, the door sits too high to shut properly. I told the front desk clerk about it in the morning. The pool was nice, however a window was left open on the first floor in the pool room causing a security problem. The apartment building next door could see right in. There is not much to be done about that, but keep the windows shut. Why allow non guests to enter? The bathroom had 1 towel per guest. No extras. One roll of toilet paper that wasn't a new one.. I could have asked for more had we ran out, but don't go cheap and only give us one roll for 2 people. The snack and soda machine was a miss. It cannot take cards, we don't carry tons of cash. No fresh water. Kansas water tastes horrible from the tap.I know because I live here. It all felt tired and worn down much like us after staying the night.

Started with checking in. It was very obvious the person who was supposed to be working the front desk wanted to be anywhere but where she was…zero interaction. At first the room looked fine. Then I went to open the curtains to look out and to my surprise we didn’t have a window! Nope a big piece of plywood covered the opening! I’m not sure if that’s even code or fire safe! If there was a fire in the hall, no way for us to get out! I went to adjust the a/c and found the control door laying on the floor, I bent down to pick it up and that’s when I saw the filthy foot stool. Pulled the covers back on the bed and it looked like the sheets had been dragged down the floor.
