Unplanned late visit to north yorkshire and met friends from Skipton. We had a night in the bar and found it very noisy, seems to be popular with the locals on an evening. Room was a little cramped, that said breakfast was good and cooked hot and fresh.

Went to Morral Restaurant at Black Horse for our Anniversary Meal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean. The menu was new one introduced that day. There was a short delay in getting food but we were warned of this. We were so well looked after by Zoe and Phoebe, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, well presented and hot. Would definitely go again and happy to recommend. Marie Harrison

My wife and I dropped in here for a drink following a disappointing visit to the Foresters Arms next door. What a contrast. The decor was nice, the place was warm and a plentiful supply of different ales. Staff were great as well. Nothing negative to say or write

Had a group meal there while using Grassington as a base for a walking week. Excellent food with wide food/drink choices. Cheerful and competent service. Reasonable prices. Good atmosphere. Almost full on night we were there which speaks for itself.

This pub is a nice setting in the village of Grassington I ordered a punk ipa beer and the young guy behind the bar said £7.30 please, I asked him to check the price again which he did and said £7.30 yes it’s right. I paid reluctantly and went over to enjoy my most expensive pint ever. The pricing of this beer is ridiculous and this is blatant profiteering. I know this is a tourist area but I get the same pint in Skipton for £4.00 I will warn everybody you need deep pockets to drink here.

Came for a meal on Wednesday 11/9 with my daughter and mum. Staff confirmed last orders for food were 20.30 we took a while to order. My daughter went to order at 20.15 and the girl said we’re not serving anyone now we’re too busy ????? I couldn’t believe it yes don’t take anymore peiple in but serve the ones already there ! As all The other places stopped serving at 8 we were left without food they didn’t care x

Lovely lunch here on a sunny Monday in September. We hadn't planned on staying for food - intending on just a sit down in the sunshine and a drink. But we looked at the menu and were tempted in by a couple of hefty sized sandwiches with chunky chips. Service was great - very friendly staff. Will def call again next time we visit.

Sunday lunch here , we came to eat a month ago too . Excellent food , staff are amazing , service is 10/10 … will be back soon . We live in Pateley Bridge, we always come here for a meal out .. it’s consistently excellent. The Sunday lunch today was out of this world.

We have just had a wonderful weekend at the Black Horse. The rooms are clean, comfortable and inviting with lovely touches that include hand made shortbread and a caraf of water. Breakfast was superb as was the food from the restaurant and if your lucky you may be there when some wonderful live acts are playing. All the staff are extremely helpful going out of their way to make your stay comfortable. A big shout out to Zoe who went above and beyond to help us find some luggage we lost en route from the car park. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning.
