We booked 1 night stay and was disappointed to hear that when we arrived to check in (past the 3:00pm check in time) our room was not ready. We were dealing with Veronica and there was no explanation or apology from her about our room not being ready. She also didn’t provide us with an information when it would be ready and to come back later and she moved onto the next guest. Being that we are from another country and drove 7 hours it was disappointing and frustrating as we had no where to go and had to sit in our car while watching other guests check into their rooms. Later, at 4:30 we go back to check on the status and Veronica told us our room is still not ready. When we asked about the hotel policy and mentioned some compensation for the hassle and unpreparedness, she told us to wait to the side for the manager and was dismissive. We waited 15 minutes, no manager arrived and other guests were able to check in to their rooms no problem. Veronica then asked us our room number (we have no idea as we don’t have a room) but then said your room is ready and pulled a card out. We were furious as our room was ready the whole time we were standing there. This is unacceptable customer service. We paid an extremely inflated price at this hotel and the return service was awful. As a customer we are very disappointed in this establishment and our experience in how we were treated.
