On the last night of our visit, both the heating system and hot water were not functioning. After a long day, we were unable to shower and were shivering in the cold room all night (it was the end of December). This situation was particularly distressing given that I was traveling with my parents, who are in their late 60s and early 70s. As a result of the cold and discomfort, both of them fell ill.
I understand that unforeseen issues can occur, but it is the hotel’s responsibility to address such matters fairly. There wa sa lack of acknowledgement or apology from the staff at checkout and despite raising this issue by email, no one from the hotel replied about this significant lapse in service. The inability to access basic and essentials like heat and hot water constitutes a failure to deliver the standard of care and service we rightfully expected. There was no effort to compensate for the inconvenience, no gesture of goodwill, not even a simple "sorry" for failing to meet such basic standards.
I cannot recommend staying here and sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously and improve both their facilities and customer service moving forward.
