Holiday Inn Express & Suites Goodland I-70

Hotel is very clean. Room was updated and clean. Lighting is bright in bathroom. Definitely would stay there again!

Staff was friendly, clean and could walk to lSteak office. Great!

My wife and I stayed here one night while on a road trip. We would stay here again for such a trip, though likely not for a long stay. The hotel was clean (though not spotless), and the staff was generally kind and helpful. We especially appreciated Melinda, who prepares breakfast, as she was super friendly and cheerful. If you stay here we recommend staying in the top floor, as the noise from the floor above us really bothered us and woke us from our sleep on multiple occasions. As for price, it’s a little bit pricey but acceptable.

Great hotel…very clean and decent prices. Like all Holiday Inn Express hotels, the beds were extremely comfortable. Great to have frig in room to keep traveling drinks cold. Friendly check in staff and hard working staff at breakfast. Recommend staying here.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in on our travels. The room was fresh and clean, and up to date with enough usb outlets. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Even had a K cup coffee pot complete with Green Mountain coffee. The breakfast bar was wonderful. They even had egg white veggie omelettes and warm fresh cinnamon rolls. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the employees made us feel very welcome. We put this down as a “must stay here” if we come this way again.

WARNING - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS! The employees at this hotel are unbelievably rude and discourteous. We made reservations at this hotel weeks in advance and even called a week before our trip to confirm. When we arrived at the hotel to check in they did not have the rooms we had booked. They tried to shove us in two horrible rooms, separated by a room with a screaming baby. When we tried to explain to the girl at the front desk (Zoe) that those were not the rooms we had requested and they would not work for us, she was very hateful and nasty. She said there was nothing they could do, the hotel was booked. We said we could go next door instead, and she rudely said, “Well you are still going to be charged for the first night. If you have a problem with that contact corporate.” We checked out and went next door where we had a wonderful stay. But the HI Express charged our card $340 for the first night, even though they did not have the rooms we actually booked. When contacted, the corporate office simply shuffled me back to the general manager of the hotel, Chris Irvin. He was very rude on the phone and refused to do anything to help. He repeated himself 4 times saying that they can’t guarantee room types and that no refunds is their policy. When I tried to talk to him further about the situation he got hyper defensive and said I was “defaming his character.” In no way did I ever “defame his character.” He refused to listen to anything I had to say, but instead just kept repeating himself.

Clean, friendly staff, plenty of parking, clean pool area, awesome breakfast (the pancake machine is too cool!!) plenty of options! I was debating pushing through and driving another 3 hours home but this place made me thankful that I decided to stop. Just a small rave about the bathroom. I love the fact they have actual bottles of shampoo & conditioner. My hair is long & thick those little sample bottles at hotels DON’T even work for me. So this help yourself to what you need was so perfect! Shower is huge with glass doors (not that yuck usual cloth shower curtain at most places).
