Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room. We stayed in Room 14, outside the main hotel. Double bed as you enter, through door at the back of the room into second room with 2 single beds, bathroom off to the right, no bath but large shower cubicle. Beds comfortable, tea and coffee facilities. Evening meal tasty, breakfast (pastries, ham, cheese, yoghurt, toast, cereal, fruit etc) good. Everything seems recently refreshed, thoroughly recommended.

The hotel is in the heart of Llangollen. Easy reach to shops, cafes, pubs, railway station and of course the river Dee. The hotel has a large car park for patrons. We were greeted at reception by a pleasant man and given our keys. He explained the times of breakfast and evening dinner. Our room was basic but clean, we had a front view of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely, great choice to meet the needs of everyone. We ventured to the rear of the hotel and sat out on beautiful tables with parasols overv looking the Dee and served with our drinks. There seems to be a staff shortage as staff were all mulit-tasking but were in good spirit. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Great couple of days away in this lovely hotel and town. We booked the autumn special offer which included, tea & scone on arrival, dinner, bed & breakfast & access to spa. On arrival greeted by reception staff who were very accommodating. The room we were first allocated to was nice but the view which was supposed to be scenic was overlooking the bins at the back of the hotel. So the more mature receptionist (sorry didn’t get the name) managed to get us a much better room with a small upgrade cost. The scones & tea was a welcome treat which was delicious after a 3 hour drive. Dinner was nice and breakfast also good with plenty of choice. The spa was also a welcome addition after canoeing on the canal early in the day. The spa pools were nice & hot and the steam & sauna room were hot too. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Spa treatments available but only 1 therapist on, so limits availability for a couple wanting treatments together. Room was very comfortable with a balcony over looking gardens. Bathroom massive with Elemis toiletry’s…very nice! Complementary biscuits, bottled water and hot drinks tray. Lovely towels & comfy large bed. Llangollen centre is a few minutes walk, which you can take along the gorgeous river side. Loads to do in Llangollen, with the canal, vintage trains, shops, cafes & loads more. We recommend eating in The cornmill which looks right over the river Dee. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel, die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, gut ausgestattet, das Frühstück kostet ca. 6 Pfund pro Person, es gibt einen Parkplatz am Eingang, die Treppe im Obergeschoss ist etwas schmal, es scheint keinen Aufzug zu geben, wir haben zwei große Kisten genommen, um hochzugehen Stärke, das Hotel liegt neben der Autobahn, nachts ein wenig laut, aber es hat keinen Einfluss auf den Schlaf, es ist trotzdem gut!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einer schönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Hinter dem Zimmer befindet sich ein kleiner Fluss mit Kreuzfahrtschiffen. Das Hotel hat auch einen eigenen Steg. Im Fluss spielen wilde Enten. Wenn Sie den Fluss entlang gehen, begegnen Sie auch Eichhörnchen zum Essen. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist sehr reichhaltig und der Geschmack ist sehr gut, aber es wird müde nach dem Essen jeden Tag! Die Lage ist ca. 8 Autominuten von Oswestry entfernt. Sie können nur dorthin fahren, wenn Sie etwas kaufen möchten. Es gibt keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten rund um das Hotel.
