Borgo Sant'Ippolito Country Hotel

In the Tuscan countryside. First impression from the road was not all that good - didn't look too exciting! But parked the car, went inside, and the whole impression is of a refurbished very old building, with high ceilings, lots of wood - lots of character! Reception very friendly. Room again with lots of wood, high ceiling, and character. Room very quiet. Nice small bar. Breakfast buffet is good. GREAT restaurant just opposite the hotel across the road. Gardens with mimosa in bloom! All very Nice. Negative - no tea making facilities and room and TV only Italian.

What a fabulous hotel !!! We stayed a week here and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff were very good and particular mention of Roberto who was very helpful and welcoming. The room was a very good size but be warned there are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms, the staff are more than willing to make you anything you want but it goes on the bill !! That small detail aside we really enjoyed the room and the hotel in general. Please pay a visit to the restaurant across the road from the hotel, the reception will book it for you, the staff there too are very welcoming and the food very tasty. The reception staff will also provide directions to get to Florence by public transport , although you do have to drive to the nearest tram stop, but they are very easy to use and punctual. On the whole had a fantastic holiday, cannot recommend the hotel highly enough, beautiful grounds, great staff, good value and perfect .. will be back !!!

Siamo tornati qui dopo tre anni e non abbiamo mai trovato personale tanto gentile. Riccardo e Michela ti fanno sentire a casa, senza nulla togliere a tutto il resto del personale, garbato e sempre sorridente. Il posto é magnifico, le stanze molto belle e fresche, il giardino magnifico con piscina attrezzata con lettini e gazebi curati, la colazione abbondante e varia, la posizione strategica che permette di raggiungere tutti i maggiori luoghi di interesse in circa un’ora. Il ristorante di fronte all’hotel consigliatissimo, cucina locale davvero buonissima. Cinque stelle sono poche per quantificare la nostra esperienza. Grazie di tutto, Michela e Andrea.

Een heel mooi hotel rustig gelegen, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Nette kamers en schoon. Heerlijk ontbijt en een heerlijk zwembad om elke ochtend een aantal baantjes te trekken. Moet wel in bezit zijn van een auto. Het dorpje is op 5 min rijden met de auto

Country hotel in luogo rilassante e comodo per visitare il Chianti, Firenze ,ma anche Pisa e Lucca. Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Colazione semplice ,ma molto buona ogni giorno una torta fatta in casa. C'è anche la piscina che purtroppo na causa del brutto tempo non abbiamo potuto utilizzare. Di fronte all'hotel c'è un ristornate che fa un'ottima fiorentina molto comodo se non si vuole prendere la macchina per andare a cena. Le camere tutte diverse comode, pulite e confortevoli.

Struttura molto curata dove si respira a pieno il vero spirito toscano. Camere pulite e personale veramente cordiale, gentile e sempre disponibile. CONSIGLIATISSIMO! Anche per soggiorni di gruppo.
