The Inn at GIG Harbor

My stay was warm and welcomed. All staff was amazing, both courteous and friendly. I stayed for an extend period of time and enjoyed all my time at the inn. Definitely would recommend if your in town.

酒店還算比較乾淨，酒店周邊也比較安靜，不遠處就是超市等，比較方便，但早餐實在太差了，早餐廳燈光昏暗，東西也很少。最大的問題是我特意選的套間，攜程圖片上顯示的也是套間，但實際是卻是單間，這個有點欺詐嫌疑，我要投訴！

Positive Aspects: The staff are delightful, and I appreciated the small convenience store, lobby coffee, in-room coffee, fridge, included breakfast, and free parking. Areas for Improvement: While the property exterior and lobby appear updated, the rooms do not match this standard. The dated or damaged wallpaper, curtains, bathroom tile, and fixtures show obvious signs of neglect, with visible holes and sloppy repairs. The furniture seems to have been updated in the last decade, but the beds were uncomfortable and had nylon mattress covers that slept warm despite the wall-unit AC being set at 68 degrees. The carpet was dingy and obviously frayed down the center of the room. The phone appeared to have not been properly cleaned over several visits as the cradle was full of dust/gunk. Perhaps given the limited local hotel options there is no motivation to address these rather obvious issues which were consistent during both of my recent stays and reflects an overall lack of commitment to quality that impacts comfort and value. I do hope the management will prioritize room renovations and repairs as this could be a great hotel. Despite the convenient location in central Gig Harbor, I will seek alternative accommodations on my next visit.

Without doubt some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Arriving at 1.30 I am informed I’m a bit early for check in. So I sat in the lobby till 3 with others. At that point the check in process began. A surly member of staff who was being trained advised me that I’d only booked one night not two per my reservation. There then continued a debate behind the counter where it evolved the first staff member had changed my number of nights on the reservation system manually. The other member of staff appeared and stated “he did book two nights”. Now approaching 2 hours since arrival we were finally graciously allowed to stay at the hotel at 3.30. No Internet either, apparently “down all over Gig Harbor”. Subsequent easy checking determined internet was good just across the street and all over the local area (coffee shops, grocery stores, medical facilities). My wife could not work as planned. Not once an apology for calling me out on the number of nights I’d booked in front of the line. In fact a kind of arrogance that the customer is wrong and we hold the keys to your room. We left to go to the room wondering why the staff think it’s ok to treat guests quite so badly. Friendly housekeeping repeatedly knocking on our door believing we were only booked one night. (And should have left.) One notable exception, the lady at breakfast who was delightful. I am not sure how long she’ll last given her natural nice persona. Enjoy your remodelled rooms, if you have any guests left. Other hotels welcome their guests with an early check in if this can be arranged. This place I understand seeks $50 though this option was never proposed. End of a fabulous road trip and sad it was tainted with a miserable stay at this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE: On a business trip, our party arrived late after midnight to find bed bugs in one of the rooms under the mattress. We alerted the front desk and told them we were leaving the hotel. I made the trip reservation through Hotwire, so cancellation was made by coordinating between the third party site and Jessica, a supervisor at the hotel. I will say the front desk staff were very sympathetic and understanding, however Jessica was not. She refused to grant us a full refund, saying only one of the rooms had received a bed bug report. Even though we left the hotel and didn’t stay in either room! She then denied the presence of bed bugs in the hotel, which is troubling as I worry they are doing nothing about the problem but ignoring it. If you google the hotel there are countless bed bug complaints. We ended up having to call 20+ hotels till 3am, all of which were fully booked in the area but were finally able to get rooms at the emerald queen ****** hotel. I travel for work and stay at hundreds of hotels a year. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Zero sympathy. Do not stay here.

We traveled through Washington and Oregon for three weeks and this was our least favorite hotel. Pros: The beds are comfortable, the parking is plentiful, and it is in a safe location. Cons: The room was worn out and some of the furniture was grubby. The breakfast room is so grim, we didn't return the second morning for breakfast. The front desk employee was less than welcoming and told me if I had checked in early he would have to charge me $50. We were not checking in early so that was strange to say. Also, it is odd that the front entrance does not have an automatic door which one expects at a hotel entrance with people coming in and out with luggage.

We chose this hotel as it is the stop in Gig Harbor for the airporter. Very decent hotel with a complimentary breakfast nice room, kindly gave us a late check out as booked on a later airporter. Room comfortable with a couch, a comfy bed and nice toiletries. Refrigerator and microwave. Slight cons - low water pressure in the room which was reported. A high price point for the room, as residents of Gig Harbor we always noticed that due to the lack of hotels in the area those that are there seem to charge a premium. Just an observation.

This room is in need of a lot of repairs and cleaning very disappointed for the price to find a ran down room. One of the beds was broke or just warn out. You slopped down. Very used and needs lot of maintenance. The toilet super load, the fan. Have video but can’t post. $250.00 a night you expect better. The whole hotel could use work. Outside looks great. Could see out of room windows as full of mold or something in them.

Don't have all the words yet to describe how well taken care of I was by this hotel and staff. I travel for work and had some very unfortunate work scheduling issues that kept me in gig harbor for an extra couple of days. Alex and Rebecca at the front desk completely blew me with their attitude and efforts to try to make my family and I feel comfortable and at home during our stay. I can't remember the last time I felt so taken care of on the road, and that is pretty special. I don't think I encountered one person in all of the staff that I experienced who wasn't kind and full of smiles. Absolutely A+ experience! I will stay here every time I visit the gig harbor area. Thank you!!!
