Orchard Park Hotel

Had lunch today(17/08/24)and have to say the food and service was excellent.Have always found the staff to be absolutely professional in all they do to provide the best service in the area and a tip would be if you’re having the club sandwich expect a great portion and ingredients as it was delicious and filling.Thank you 👍

When we arrived we were shown up to our room but I later discovered an issue with the bathroom. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and we were shown into another room immediately. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t give more than ‘very good’ as the bathrooms are really just cubicles but the staff definitely deserve an ‘excellent’

Had my daughter’s 21st surprise party yesterday in the function room and was such a good night. The staff were amazing especially the two girls who went above and beyond to help me set up and serve the bar and nothing was too much trouble for them. The buffet was sooo good and everyone there agreed. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

Despite very friendly staff, the hotel only deserves a 2 star rating. The room was sad and very dirty. We had to put paper down on the surfaces before using them. There was mould around the tap and it remained smeared and watermarked throughout our stay. The breakfast table was the stingiest one I’ve ever seen. A few small cereal selection boxes, tea and coffee were all that greeted us in the morning although the cooked breakfast when it came was delicious. To conclude, way overpriced and when I told the receptionist upon leaving he replied ‘you should have told us’. That’s exactly what I was doing!

We had our mums 89th birthday party here and everything was excellent, the staff were attentive and very helpful. The food was great quality. Everything went as planned. Overall we were delighted with the venue, the family all had a great time, thank you

This place is a complete dive as a hotel. I get that the bar and restaurant are okay but as a hotel it’s a complete sham. Our room, exorbitantly priced at £187, was worth around £50. Very 2 star. Not modern. Dark, dingy and dirty. Stained carpet. The smallest double bed I’ve ever seen with an equally miniscule bathroom. We had to use the main toilets because you couldn’t sit on the bathroom one due to lack of space. No one ever at reception aka anyone could just walk in. Very much all about the drinking and not about the accommodation which explains the persistent noise for most of the night. Zero sleep! A really unpleasant experience never to be repeated. Do stay at the Redhurst Hotel down the road instead though! Still waiting for it’s Director to make a refund as promised for a rate that at least partially resembles reality for a 2 star box
