The summer systems tend to shift the sand north and the winter systems shift the sand back south to us. So it is quite likely that there will not be sand on the beach during the months of July through December. The central section of Seven Mile Beach has the widest and most reliable stretch of beach but you will notice that reflected in the pricing of those complexes versus Cayman Reef. As for essentials, there are two supermarkets about a 15 minute walk away (in opposite directions), a wine/spirits/beer store across the road, and an ATM very close by.Cars are driven on the left side of the road in Cayman which can be daunting to many North Americans. There are plenty of options for car rentals but most visitors choose not to rent a car and walk to most attractions or catch the bus.As we live in the same complex, we offer you the additional benefit of being close by should you need anything.
