Lord Caledon Guest House

Stayed for two nights. No bottled water in the room - although this is listed on the fridge door. Poor quality coffee, only creamer- no milk. The first night was very cold - no blanket, but there was an electric blanket on the bed which I used although I do not like sleeping on an electric blanket. When I asked for a blanket the next morning, they committed to provide one, nothing! The duvet is lumpy, with the stuffing stuck in corners - this is even visible on one of the room photos on the web page and therefore cannot keep you warm. Pillows are flat and do not provide support. The room is clean, and I felt safe, but attention to detail is surely lacking, like two air freshener pods in the bathroom - different scents and neither working anymore. To be honest I expect more for the price you pay and do not consider this as value for money.

A truly unwelcoming guest house. Room was freezing and air con for heat wasn't working. Broken bathroom cupboards, rusty sanitary bins, leaking toilets. The pros: The room is large and there's an electric blanket at least. Close to restaurants Lots of barking dogs in the morning from neighboring houses. Didn't bother going to breakfast.

No breakfast. Still havent met the so called staff. Had to check in and out on by self. We were told they had golfers partying the days before our arrival and that they were taking the day off so we have to check in and out vy ourselves. Also did not receive bfast

Place is clean and there is everything you need. Breakfast is ok but no more. Staff was not very friendly. The room was noisy. After load shedding a beeping guard alarm kept me awake for the whole night. There was no staff during the night. Would never stay there again.
