Checked in quickly route to room was explained and easy to follow facilities were good room was clean burger king was convenient

Perfect for me visiting family in the area. Absolutely lovely staff, very courtesy and professional. Nothing was a bother to them and each and every one of them always had a few pleasant words along with a very warm and welcoming smile.

Whilst the hotel was clean and tidy, the location given of Newcastle Whitemare Pool is very misleading. This hotel is situated approx 8-10miles from Newcastle so be aware if you book thinking you have got a bargain Newcastle hotel.

I wouldn't return to this Travelodge, there are far nicer ones in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. It feels unsafe where its situated, unkempt internally, smell and aroma of old drains throughout the property and i wouldn't recommend being outside of the property at night by yourself. However the staff where lovely and jolly!

Visiting a dying relative in the RVI. Drove 165 miles to get here. Arrived 2pm explained our situation, one of our party is disabled. Said we need to get to the hospital, told sorry we will have to wait until 3pm. All we wanted to do was drop our bags off. The time now is 14.40 and it's still 'showing as dirty.' We book this hotel at least once a month, never again.

Im not a regular travel lodge guest so was a bit apprehensive beforehand. I traveled with a friend who made the booking as we were running in the GNR. From entering the reception to leaving 2 days later, I can honestly say that it was great and perfect for our needs. We were met by front desk staff - Kayleigh who is brilliant. A great character and super helpful. It was obvious that the staff were very supportive of the event as there was a good luck banner in the reception area and the manager had organised a whole table of food, snacks, drinks for the runners and helpers, charity workers etc - on the morning of the run. Kayleigh helped us with looking at race day logistics and couldn't have been any more amazing. The room was basic but we didn't need anything else. It was clean and looked like it had been recently painted. The hotel is situated exactly halfway through the course and during the race Kayleigh was outside in her high-vis jacket offering support and cheering us on. It was so nice to see her smiling face! We didn't see her again so thank you for being you and thankyou to all staff that made our stay even more memorable. Travel lodge are lucky to have you!

Stayed here before with work, will stay again... Good room, good amenities, greggs and a garage around the corner. Front desk are always polite and willing to help with anything they can.. Have recommended this travelodge before and I will continue to do so.

The Travel lodge was clean and tidy and met our needs during this trip. Facilities were perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. No issues or concerns and would stay again. Thank you. 👌
