Four Seasons B&B

Quick trip and handy location

I was on my own and I was given a single room in what I would consider to be a converted garage in the back garden. The gentleman at reception described it as a quiet room. The room was extremely dated and the price for a single room was expensive. There was no Smoke Detector in the room. The Door had to be locked from the inside with a key. This means that in an emergency a key is needed to escape, this is contrary to Fire Regulations. The Ensuite was probably the smallest that I have ever seen, it was approximately 720 mm wide. There was a mini sink. The water pressure in the shower was very low, not acceptable for the price paid. The Taps, plug hole etc. are in urgent need of replacement. The room needs to be painted. The door to the wardrobe didn't open fully and didn't close properly. The only good thing that I can say is that the location and parking were good. I would not recommend this B and B.

The first night was dreadful. We were put in the attic room, low ceilings, shower room so small you couldn't move. Mould on the roof windows. We complained, said we weren't staying another night, then were moved to a ground floor room which was much better. Be aware that bed and breakfast does not mean breakfast is included. You'll pay the same price for breakfast whether you get continental or hot. Our stay after the first night was fine. Staff very helpful.

Everything was perfect for our Galway trip. The Four Seasons is very well located, just minutes from the train station and downtown. We were very well accommodated. The room was clean and the beds were great. A special mention goes to the breakfast: lots of delicious choices (cereals, pastries, freshly prepared eggs...).

This place was wonderful. Room was very clean, place was convenient to downtown (10 minute walk to eyre square) but far enough a way from the crowds to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and a real bargain. The owner is incredibly helpful and kind. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Galway

Our stay here was at the end of the trip and our second time in Galway. It’s an excellent location - just a 5 min or so walk from Eyre Square and a good place to stay if you’re going on one of the ferries. The room size was as expected and comfortable for 2 people. The breakfast is cooked to order and done very well. If you need a bus, it’s on a main line for one that goes to Eyre Square/Salthill. Above all, the atmosphere is welcoming. Will definitely stay there on future trips.

A lovely B&B . Very clean and warm room. We were well looked after by our hosts . A lovely breakfast with various choices on the menu. It was an ideal place to stay to visit Galway and the wild Atlantic way. A huge variety of odifferent restaurants and bars in Galway itself ,we had lovely meals in all the places we ate at . We also hired a car and went out to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher as well as a drive to the Killary fjord near Leenaun in Connermara

Room was not appropriate for 2 people. Bed so close to bathroom door, kept banging legs into bed frame. Price paid did not match the accommodation provided. Was served raw omelet for breakfast. When spoke with management, couldn’t care less. Avoid this property especially if given room 3 .

Our family of 4 needed a spot for the night in between adventures and found this bed and breakfast. The host was very friendly on arrival and went over the basics. Also showed us where the nearest walkable area to restaurants and shopping area, just a few minutes walk away. This b&b is located in a great area! Our family had the very top room which was perfect for our family (2 adult teens, each had their own bed). The next morning we had a grea breakfast with fruits, pastries and eggs a variety of ways.
