Wow! Will not go back. Other than location, most everything was unacceptable - like elevator out for 3 days, no shop for basics, no breakfast option, rude service, filthy rooms (easpecially bathroom), not a single window in bedroom, shoer had barely any pressure (drip, drip), etc., etc.

Before visiting and reading the reviews I was concerned about staying here but there was no reason to be worried. Yes the facade is a little bit tired (they have just had a hurricane recently) but our room was perfect a two bedroom suite overlooking the ocean. The rooms were clean and more than adequate for family of four. Washer/dryer was perfect for us as we were on a road trip. Pool and walk to the beach couldn’t have asked for more. Cassie at check in was wonderful and all the ladies couldn’t have been more helpful. It is on the quieter end of the island so a car is needed to go downtown and visit the pier but we really enjoyed our stay here was just what we needed.

Our room was clean, fresh and well appointed. We loved having a kitchen and enjoyed sitting on our balcony soaking up the sun and viewing the ocean waves, and of course, the oceanfront and beach access was fabulous! The pool and hot tub were refreshing. It was a great vacation. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon.

Very clean and staff were awesome. We enjoyed our location right on the beach and onsite amenities were nice.

Absolutely 0 helpful management and staff. We wanted to check holiday inn vacation club and got a deal, that includes discounts on stay and visiting presentation. Nobody told us that location of presentation is 40 min drive. We were in lobby in time and waiting, when found out about it. We drove, came late and asking for re-scheduling. Waiting 3 hours for answers. Called 2 times on customer service. Finally they refused to make an accommodation and charged us additional $500 on top $400 for very simple, not clean hotel in Galveston. $900 total for 3 days . I was loyal customer for many years, really like chain in Idaho and Montana, but not gonna use them again. And definitely will not recommend to get their timeshare deal- if you will have problems, they will not help you.

Hi! I signed up for the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Galveston promo (I was looking into becoming a part owner) and I had a really frustrating experience with the Tour Site. As part of the required deal, I signed up to arrive at a different hotel in Galveston (20 minutes from the hotel we were staying at) for my "Tour Site" at 2pm. When I arrived early to my tour, I was told that my form of identification (on my phone) was not eligible. I had family drive back to our hotel and pick up my physical cards only for the "Tour Site" to say I am (4) minutes pass the grace period. I was told my only option is to contact marketing to set me up with another "Tour Site" if there is eligibility, there has been no availability and all of my requests have been denied. I have spoken with 5+ employees and 2 managers (3+ hours of phone calls with wait times) since all of this started. And I am now being charged for the missed tour. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR HOLIDAY INN CLUB VACATIONS. Everything else about my experience has been great: hotel, cleanliness, location, extra, but the whole point of the promo/becoming a part owner...DO NOT DO.

The booking website for this hotel is extremely deceptive. The only pictures are from the “signature” villas and they only show amenities for guests who stay in the “signature” rooms. No mention or pictures of the other villas that are across the street and do not include the best amenities like the infinity pool. Not to mention that the “regular” villas are not within walking distance of the signature villas and the beach access. Horrible customer service from Holiday Inn. Will never stay here again due to deception.

The good. Quiet location on the beach. Nice pool and hot tub, that is cleaned every morning. We had a great view of the pool and ocean. Beds were comfortable. The not so good. We had a two bedroom unit. Well I thought that's what we were getting. It was really two one bedroom units. We entered from outside then one bedroom on one side and another on the other side with entryway between. We had to use door stops to keep doors open to go between units. Wifi was not consistent and very slow. When we wanted to look up places to go or eat it was a pain. Also the units need a major renovation.

Nice and comfortable place to enjoy family and friends. Good view and nice staff. Too bad the restaurant next door closed down.
