Just back from 7 days at Jabega,This is our 2nd visit to these apartments, right across from the beach its beautiful, lots of lovely restaurants around los boliches to,Apartment view was outstanding once again room 1005 was on top floor with beautiful views, we also had the privilege of a fantastic fireworks display for San Juan ,never witnessed a fireworks display so extravagant, A big thanks to all staff,but a special mention to Kisko,and also Fran ,he recommended at day to Mijas,Thanks Fran it was amazing, Have already booked to come back again next june,Thanks

Myself and my husband stayed in Jabega for a week at the end of August/early September 2024. Fran on reception was very welcoming and helpful which made a very positive start to our stay. The apartment was a little dated but very clean and had absolutely everything you could possibly want for a self catering stay. The kitchenette was slightly snug but again had everything you needed. The hotel does not have a pool but that was absolutely not a problem as the hotel boasts a very enviable position right across the road from the beach and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. We had a really good sized balcony and the views from it to the sea were stunning. Only slight negative is that the balconies are very overlooked by the adjacent hotel but you get over that too! The hotel is in a great position for loads of bars and restaurants and despite that, it is actually not noisy at night time. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely recommend Jabega to anyone looking for a break away close to all amenities and the beach. I would also like to give a shout out to Fran on reception who is an absolute gentleman - he was so pleasant and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We would most definitely stay here again. We only had food here at their outside restaurant and found it to be average. The good itself looked and tasted as if it u ad been lifted from your home freezer. It's priced accordingly however some of the drinks where overpriced. Try it if your on a tight budget if you must.

Second holiday staying in these apartments. Jet2 package tour. 10 day stay. Very clean ,apartment serviced every day. Large balcony. There are front facing and side apartments .sea view from most I would think. The apartments have a corner bar with entertainment every night (finishes at 11.30 so no noise issues )it’s open to everyone and is very popular. There location is ideal ,across from beach and about 10 min walk to either fuengirola or los boliches train station. 10 min to bus station and harbour. The staff are very friendly and customer focused from reception to bar We visit fuengirola every year usually first week in oct when the wonderful Feria is on. Hope you enjoy this review but Bare in mind we’re a couple of young at heart 70 yr olds and what we enjoy may not be your cup of tea. If you like exploring like we do it’s easy to get around on bus or train. 45 min on train to Malaga 20 min on bus to Mijas

Writing this review on behalf of a family member . Hotel its self is really nice with a great location right in front of the beach with plenty of restaurants and shops around . Hotel staff are really nice , bar and restaurant lovely , rooms are spacious the one bedchad sofa bed in living room which was comfortable the only downside of our visit was that we were on the back of the hotel facing on to bar 55 and the street was extremely noisy at night so if you have kids it can be a problem but I understand it is July and the town is very busy also the bed in the bedroom was not comfortable but other than that we enjoyed our stay it was good for a weekend as the hotel does not have a pool but if I was staying longer I would look for a pool .

Stayed at La jabega as a party of 5 in two rooms. Staff were great, lots of languages catered for. Rooms are basic but very clean, showers were fab, the water is really hot. Small kitchenette with fridge and hob (no oven). Free WiFi and air con but note you need to pay €10 deposit to receive the air con remote control and tv remote (this is mentioned on the welcome letter but I didn’t read so realised once we were in the room). There is a bar/restaurant attached which is fantastic, amazing value for money and they have live music in the evenings. The rooms have a large balcony so it’s nice to sit out and sunbathe- there is no pool but the hotel is beachfront, each sunbed section on the beach is manned by a guy in a hut, you pay €7 per sunbed and parasol per day and once paid they put a reserved sign on so you don’t have to “guard” it. The whole resort was really friendly. Hard to find any negatives but can only think of the lack of pool and small lifts - there are 3 lifts but you can only fit two (or 3 at a push) people in each so if you’re claustrophobic be aware. We would definitely return. .

First of all I've been going to fuengarola for the last 10yrs and this has been the worst experience,I took my granddaughter who is 13yrs old,the staff were very rude and arrogant,I asked if they had a pool and was told we have the biggest pool in the world,pointed across the road and said the sea.ok,when we arrived I asked if I could book a courtesy room as the following week we were on a late flight, I was told come back tomorrow,I had that everyday until 2 days before our departure and was told we're fully booked....seriously! The rooms were like staying in a hostel the settees or beds whichever you want to call them were like sleeping on the floor even my granddaughter was complaining of her back hurting her,absolute disgrace,I wouldn't recommend this to family or friends never mind strangers.

I spent 3 weeks from 10th June 24 at Jabega Apartments to get away from the awful Scottish weather! Suffice to say it was wall to wall sunshine which was wonderful! I had stayed at Jabega last year for 12 nights at the same time and really enjoyed my stay so much I had to return for another longer holiday. I received a warm welcome on arrival. Unfortunately, my apartment was not ready so I had to wait 2 hours before I could get entry which was a bit disappointing. I was however delighted with the apartment I had been allocated. I had a full on sea view which was amazing. Lovely private balcony to sit out on for all meals and enjoy the amazing view. The apartment was spotless and had everything you would require if you wished to self cater. There is maid service every day and the linen and towels are changed on a regular basis. The apartments are not modern rather dated but they are comfortable nonetheless. The person who stood out and shown for me was Kisto on Reception. He was such a friendly pleasant chap who always had the time to have a quick word with me. He most certainly is an asset to the establishment. The apartments are so central, close to the bus stop and many good Restaurants. Will I return, most certainly I will and am thinking about a holiday early next year. On my experience I most certainly have no hesitation in recommending this lovely place.

This hotel offers basic self catering accomodation. It is very clean, maids come in most days to change towels etc. The room arrangement was odd: on arrival we had to move the furniture and make the beds, never had to do that before. The restaurant is chronically understaffed: you are often ignored while they chat to each other but food is ok.
