Comfort Suites French Lick

Just needed a room for one night and we had booked a ride on the French Lick Train so this was close by. It was super clean and staff was very friendly. The breakfast the next morning was amazing. Held us until dinner! Bed was comfy too. Highly recommend.

Our car club was visiting the French Lick area for our spring trip. We have been doing trips 3 times per year for over 15 years and have visited places all over the North American Continent. Of all the places we have stayed over the years, which includes road side motels to high end luxury resorts, we have never had a better experience. Jason and his staff went well beyond what one would have expected to accommodate us. The rooms, and facilities were clean and well maintained (pool and hot tube were being renovated) , and the staff was eager to help and make us feel at home. Frankly I usually stay at higher priced hotels, but would choose this one the next time I visit the area.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Our large group was spread out over multiple rooms and we frequently gathered in the lobby or the parking lot for social time and even a pizza party. The staff was very friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. It made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Never stayed here before but WE WILL RETURN. Our group chose this place because of its location and price and ease of accommodating our group of 17 folks. Once we got there, the STAFF was so gracious to meet all our needs. The rooms were great, bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome, Both Jason Lindsey and Melonie insisted on seeing all our needs were met for a comfortable stay. WiFi worked great...and the room rate was SO GOOD compared to many other local facilities. Pet friendly too, wished I had seen this before we left, our little poochie would have loved the place too.

I visited this hotel with a group of friends in June 2024. The hotel is recently renovated and the rooms were spacious, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The highlight however was the staff. Jason the manager and his team could not have been more friendly and accommodating, all with a welcoming smile. Don't miss this hidden gem in French Lick, Indiana.

While all Comfort suites have great accommodations, this one was exceptionally well kept, but it was the STAFF which sets this one apart from the rest. From Jason to Melanie our collector car group were treated as if we were visiting royalty from another Nation. Above and beyond doesn't even scratch the surface of what they all did for us, but perhaps this best sums it up; Many of our group stayed the previous several nights at the Baden Springs ($$$$$$$). While obviously not in the same category, they enjoyed their stay at this Comfort Suites MORE than the Baden and have been telling everyone else in our International group about their stay, since. We travel the continent 3 times a year for car touring events, for the past 24 years, but this one tops them all. Hands down. Very impressive!

The staff was friendly the facility was clean. It was a great place for the Cobra club to base from for a few days. We enjoyed several days touring Southern Indiana and saw a lot of real nice country. The Comfort was a nice place to relax in the evenings. Many Thanks!

Couldn't check into our hotel until 1.5 hours after the promised check in time. I even called an hour before check in was supposed to be to see if early check in would be at all possible and they told me that they couldn't do early check in but that the room would be ready at 3! We needed the room for our 2 toddlers to change and wind down a little before The Polar Express. We couldn't even do that... Our room was dirty when we finally got in it + the comforter we were given had something brown dried up on it and blood-appearing stains We asked the front desk attendant for another one due to this issue and she informed me that she had no more clean ones and she had to give me a queen one instead. The front desk attendant was very nice and I know it wasn't her fault. However, we won't be back even though we have always enjoyed our stay here in the past. I hate that this was our experience.

We had a confirmed reservation for Oct. 7 and when we went to check in, they gave us a key to a room on the first floor. Upon opening the door, a male voice said "Someone is in here", so we went back to front desk to ask for another room. Unfortunately, they were sold out and had no other rooms. Another couple also had a similar problem and they found a "dirty" room and had it cleaned--but there were no dirty rooms for us. The clerk got the manager on the phone and no one could explain what had happened--clerk said the system said she checked someone into that room but she did not remember it. Housekeeping records said the room was open--so perhaps someone was in that room who was not supposed to be?? The manager gave us our money back but made no effort to find us another room, give us a credit for a future visit or anything else. Everything in French Lick was sold out (this was now almost 10 pm), so we had no choice other than going to the French Lick hotel--which was $377 rather than $108. I would not recommend staying here--no guarantee you will have a room!
