Quality Inn Fort Wayne

My office booked me in here - guess they found a low price at an on-line booking site... it was perfectly serviceable for my purposes - though nothing to write home about (though, I AM writing Trip Advisor... granted!) Pros: Convenient to the highway - easy and free parking, the pool was surprisingly clean and refreshing! Breakfast was provided - standard fare.. the room was clean, quiet and cool - plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Microwave and fridge in the room - plus an iron and ironing board - which always come in handy when traveling to meet with customers.. wifi is free - though kind of slow - typical for free hotel wifi - Pets are welcome.. (maybe next time I will bring mine!) Cons: The setting is pure industrial park interstate low budget - the outside of the property is not inviting AT ALL. The bed sagged in the middle, had seen better days... not really very many restaurants in the immediate area to choose from (though I did stumble on an enjoyable one directly across the road - which was better than first glance led me to hope for) - desk staff was fast and efficient - but not at all friendly. All in all - OK for a business trip or road trip stop over - not a destination place in any sense of the word.. overall - average..

This was our 2nd stay at the Signature Inn. We visit Fort Wayne over Labor Day to attend the ACD Fest in Auburn. Checked in late, gentleman at the desk was very friendly. Room was great...2 doubles/non-smoking. Had small fridge/freezer/microwave and coffee pot. Bath tub/toilet area a little small, and also the sink area was small....but very much OK. The fridge came in handy as we have a 2 yr old who loves her cold milk. Very convenient. Room was very clean. Will definitely stay here next year for our visit to the ACD Fest. The location is great too...close to "chain' restaurants and Glenn Brook Mall. I69 is right around the corner. See pic attached....don't mind our "junk" in the pics.

so we were staying on the first floor, smelled super weird, we got in our room, and it smelled like a nasty dirty diaper, like someone hid one in the room. there were stains all over the top cover, which looked like it had never been washed, there were stains all over the bedskirt so i had to make sure everytime i got out of the bed not to touch the blood or poop or whatever it was. the room was not cleaned at all, someone just fixed the bed with new sheets and thats it. there was other peoples trash still in the room. so indianas new law is you cant smoke within a certain amount of feet either 15 or 25 not sure, from the building, wake up and start to leave and by side exit theres all the employees smoking right outside the door. so i ended up smelling like smoke until i could get back to the hotel later to change. THEN we checked out and the next day look at the statement and they charged us for supposedly smoking in the room, i ended up getting the money back i think because i dont smoke, its one of the most disgusting things to me. the hotel is just trying to get money out of people who dont look at their final bill.

We were nearby for a competition when we got news that the roads had been closed at home an hour away and we needed to stay somewhere in Ft. Wayne. I booked this hotel last minute. We were checked in very quickly and the front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy. Honestly, we had no issues with the room whatsoever. Considering we had not planned a stay, we got the room for a decent price. The breakfast was sufficient however the waffle iron is not in the dining area and the attendant had to tell everyone where it was. This seems inconvenient but that’s the only issue I noticed. It's very convenient place to stay right near I-69 and there are many restaurants nearby. It has free Wifi and cable as well.

It was a excellent stay. One example is that it is only a couple minutes away from Mount Rushmore. Also, the beds were so comfy.

Room was clean bedding was clean. There was even a dehumidifier in the room to keep down the moisture due to the weather. Part of the hotel was under construction, but that did not interfere with my stay.

I’ve stayed in several quality Inn, and sometimes they can be a little hit or miss. This one is definitely a hit. Extremely clean, new furnishings, excellent security, . I needed a room at the last minute and decided to give this a try. I’m really glad I did. I will definitely be back in the very near future.

I think they could do better with the breakfast bar. Selection was in my opinion, poor. Rooms were clean and organized.
