Hurricane-damaged and tired, but the renovations continue. The historical mineral springs and buildings are history but the adjacent "Tiki Bar" is really hopping at night. Management is renovating the motel building, leaving the grounds/sidewalks covered in parts/junk, several tradesmen sleep nearby in their cars, but the motel room interiors are in excellent condition. Basic breakfast selections in a once-proud restaurant.

A lot of riff raff. Loud music from the bar behind. The pool is dirty and taste like beach water. The pool area smells like the dumpsters from the bar. The rooms are disgusting and old. The internet is too slow to even watch a movie. Stay away from here.

I was denied booking. Due to the hotel being booked in the middle of summer time in Florida. With 3 cars in the parking lot. 🧐. I’ve never given any problems. I’ve always respected the employees I’ve never had a complaint on me. So I called the reservation line. And asked them they told me that they were not booked and they had plenty of rooms open. So reservations called front desk. He then went to lie to him as well. He then decided to tell me and the gentleman that I was on a do not rent list. And couldn’t give me a reason as to why. What really tickles my burrito is that . He lied to me at first and told me the reason was because it was booked? Untill I did a little Holiday INNvestigation. You didn’t expect that enchilada to fit in the taco did you. NOPE. Make it right holiday Inn. 🫢

The hotel is far from a "resort" as stated in their name. I was a solo female traveling for a business trip. The property is in shambles and has strangers who loiter outside of the hotel rooms. The Tiki Bar out back is over the top with all types... this was on a Wednesday night. All doors are exterior facing and not safe. I sat in my car for over 40 minutes watching the movements of the property and ultimately decided NOT to stay there as I did not feel safe. Wyndam should be ashamed of themselves for having a property like this in their portfolio. Upon contacting ********** regarding the whole situation, they contacted the property and they REFUSED to refund my $200+ stay which is absolutely NOT ok. I canceled in plenty of time for them to resell that room (if they could) multiple times. Please, please, save your money and DO NOT stay in this motel... it doesn't even deserve the name that the property has a a hotel. Take yourself 15 minutes down the road to the HOMEWOOD SUITES and stay there for the same price! You'll thank me later.

place is not ready for long term stay. ok if not handicap and need to only sleep for a few hours. breakfast was fine. should be good in 2025. bar is noisy until 2 am. The locals use the bar. If the court and cover pool get rebuilt, it could help.

This place should not be open. It is in the middle of restoration of the first floor. The construction started around 6 pm and went on well into the night. The traffic from Rome 41 is so loud that you cannot get any sleep. The room was disgusting as it was not from the hurricane but just a lack of general maintenance. The phone in the room did not work. The lock on the door was broken but was able to be locked. The manager was nowhere to be found. I literally just left this place and am at the airport waiting to board but wanted to warn you not to stay at this place.

Booked for one night prior to Christmas 2023. We had read the reviews so weren't expecting much and we weren't disappointed regarding our expectations. We were first told that the room required to be paid for (despite it having been pre-paid). I asked the receptionist to check and she was insistent. We were given a room where there was no access to wifi so I asked for it to be changed. The receptionist insisted the room we'd been given was the 'closest to the wifi'. We were given another room which was slightly better - but you adh to stand by the window or door to access the wifi! I retruned to reception and the receptionist finally admitted that the room ahd been paid for - saying there had been a 'mix-up'. No apology though. The ice machine wasn't operating - you had to go to a tiki bar out back to get a bucket of ice. The room was average but hotels shouldn't advertise wifi if they clearly don't have it. The ground (first) floor showed some signs of Hurricane damage but the general hotel was pretty run-down and the staff need a lot of training. Wyndham should be aware that hotels under their name are offering such dreadful service. The one good thing about the area was its proximity to McGregor's pizza parlour across the street! Would never stay there again.

This stay was aweful, and not worth the money we paid to stay. If it wasn’t so late we would have left, we cancelled or stay for the 2nd night. I have never stayed in such a gross hotel, and we are not picky or high maintenance people.It was full of cockroaches, there were no smoke alarms, the phone didn’t work, the cereal was stale, the yogurt was expired by over 1 month, the picture that was on the wall was taken down to hide a patched whole in the wall, no TP roll holder. I understand you are cleaning up after a hurricane but you should not be renting this out if it was not ready. I wouldn’t stay here again if it was free. I am very disappointed that Wyndham would allow their franchise name to be attached to this hotel.
