Our first visit to Formentera with two 20 year olds. This is a beautiful hotel, in a stunning and peaceful location. The grounds are stunning. The beach is a 7 minute walk through a pine forest and it’s a rugged, unspoilt , sandy beach. The Pelayo chiringuito overlooks the beach with wonderful views out to sea. Lunch and dinner here are great, simple but tasty Spanish dishes. The Mighorn beach is very long and dotted with small bars and restaurants, the further East you go the more built up it becomes . Nothing is more than a 10-15 minute drive from Casbah so feel free to explore during the day. Es Arenals beach is the nicest, though busy and Cala Saona is very pretty but even busier. Returning to Casbah at the end of the day is like coming back to a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. The pool is great. Dining here is an experience…the food is sublime. Mustn’t forget the breakfasts, they’re great too.

I visited the restaurant, as I was deeply excited to try what's proclaimed to be the best & most elegant in the island. Was deeply disappointed as there was a fair bit of discrimination towards me (as I was alone vs in big groups). One of the staff referred to me as 'just for that young thing there'. The sommelier didn't want to entertain speaking to me and explaining to me the wines. Unfortunately I am not as young nor inexperienced and the attitude and arrogance very negatively impacted my experience. Not to mention I waited over an hour to even get drink. Not a place to visit if you are alone or in small groups, and service is definitely one of the poorest ones in the island.

Lovely place. Beautiful gardens, stylish, well laid out to provide intimacy, clean rooms, helpful service. Short walk to the beach, but its not far to drive anywhere on Formenterra. It was a 10-15 min drve from the port. Our room had plenty of space, and the beautiful gardens are lovely to walk through or just sit. We didn't eat at the restaurant but apparently its very good. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was amazing. Will definitely come back (reception told me the best prices are if you book direct). Nice pool to relax if you're not an explorer, or or a dip after a day on the beach. We chose to drive to one of the nicest beaches every day (Pacha) which was recommended by reception, which has ample public beach space, clean white sand, beautful swimming - or you can hire umbrellas and deck chairs (€10 each, so €30/per couple). Hotel for us was perfect, as was the whole Formenterra experience.

Charming boutique hotel in a lovely location. Accommodation is in adobe-style bungalows and duplexes around landscaped garden of palm trees, cacti etc. Rooms are simple, cool and shady with small outside patios. There is a central pool area ( salt water, unheated) with plenty of outside seating, sunloungers etc. We went in May when it was very quite. The restaurant is good, but quite expensive. The best part for me was the short walk down to the beach on dusty tracks through scented thyme and rosemary bushes . The beach is partly naturist (as is most of Formentera) and nearby there is a charming beach bar. Have the lobster stew there! Amazing. One thing that could be improved - ensure guests have water in their rooms.

We had a lovely, chilled time at the Casbah. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The garden and pool area was beautiful. Breakfast was good and varied. Dinner in the candle lit garden was magical. It’s a short (5 min) walk to a gorgeous beach - where clothing is optional. (Other reviewers said beach was too full of seaweed, but that really wasn’t a problem for us. There was some ****, but also lots of clear, perfect blue sea.) Theres a small but excellent supermarket a ten min walk away through the woods. Excellent bike hire 5 mins walk away and theres lots of places to cycle. Our room was simple, but had everything we needed including a pretty patio area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Room was perhaps a little dark, and maybe not as luxurious as the price would suggest, but you don’t go to Formentera to sit in your room! We will definitely be back.

Fantástico hotel escondido en el pinar de Migjorn. Un hotel pequeño con encanto. Estuvimos toda la familia una semana y una gozada de sitio. El personal muy atento y las habitaciones limpias y ordenadas. El hotel se ha reformado hace poco y todo está en perfectas condiciones. Muy recomendable. Repetiremos.

Il luogo è perfetto. Vegetazione fantastica che fa da cornice alla piscina. Il personale, purtroppo, non si è dimostrato altrettanto. Per 7 mattine, a colazione, ho dovuto richiedere lo zucchero perché la tavola non era mai opportunamente preparata. A bordo piscina il servizio è pressoché inesistente, rimangono bicchieri e bottiglie sparse per tutto il giorno. Potenziale enorme ma mal gestito.

Hotel muy bonito y tranquilo. Repetiría sin dudarlo. Muy buen servicio de desayuno. Patricia y Ángel grandes profesionales y encantadores. El restaurante es excepcional, de 10. Todo fresco, riquísimo y elaborado. Rubén y su equipo son la razón de ese éxito.

Hôtel à proximité d’une plage mais certainement pas la plus jolie de l’île ! La chambre deluxe 12m2 dispose d’une télévision que l’on peut voir que si on s’assoit sur un tabouret mais pas quand on est sur le lit ! La nuit est tout de même à plus de 200€ ! Si vous êtes un jeune couple il n’y aucune intimité dans cette chambre ! Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux . Les boissons sont très chères ! Le personnel répond à vos demandes mais ne se précipite pas pour vous servir … Nous sommes content d’avoir pu louer un scooter afin de sortir de l’hôtel car il n’y a pas grand chose à faire à pied !
