Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft im Zentrum von Florenz. Funktional und modernisierte Alterswohnung. Nur für den Zugang zu einigen Zimmern gibt es keinen Aufzug. Es ist eine beunruhigende Anwesenheit von Zähnen im Zimmer, aber es gibt innerhalb der Zimmer eine antizähnliche Einrichtung. Die Aufenthaltsgebühr von 4,50 Euro x drei Sternen ist eine echte Übertretung, die natürlich nicht dem Hotel, sondern der Stadtverwaltung zuzurechnen ist.

I loved this quirky old hotel. It is old fashioned in the best possible sense; very well situated close to the train station, the Duomo and the centre of Florence - so a perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. The rooms could do with some refurbishment but are air conditioned, kept very clean, and everything works. Doubles are generous in size, single rooms are small. Breakfast is continental with cheese, ham, muesli, croissants, cake, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and detox water. Most importantly, the staff here were unfailingly courteous and helpful. They really could not do enough for us, from letting me borrow an adapter, to recommending excursions, booking taxis, and accommodating a late check out. There are trendier, more modern hotels in the area, but that is reflected in the price - you get what you pay for.

Super nice staffs and extraordinary services.
The location is perfect because it’s a few mins walking distance away from Centrale train station.
They also have a nice balcony for people to use. Lovely hotel! Will come back again!!

Das war meine erste Hostel-Erfahrung allein und es war soooo gut! Ich fühlte mich sehr sicher, das Personal super freundlich, das Zimmer und die gemeinsamen Bereiche hatten alles, was Sie je brauchen! Locker im Zimmer war riesig ... Ich hatte genug Platz, um alle meine Dinge sicher zu halten, aber Sie müssen Ihre eigene Padlock bringen (Vielleicht könnte das Hostel das klar machen auf der Buchung? Obwohl ich bereit war, eine andere Dame im Zimmer war nicht ;)). Lage groß, sehr nahe dem Bahnhof (aber weit genug, dass es kein Problem war ....), sehr nahe den Standorten, Restaurants und Bars. Ich würde glücklich wieder in eine Ostello Bello! Grazie

Stayed here for 2 nights while touring Italy. Staff were great and couldn’t have been more helpful. Food in the restaurant is good but a little pricey. Bar is busy but again prices are higher than local venues. Breakfast was good and buffet style, only downside some items were not got enough. Would return

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und renoviert, die Zimmer sind gut gereinigt und das Frühstück hat eine Menge Wahl. Das Personal ist sehr nett und spricht viele Sprachen. Der Direktor Jean und der Generaldirektor Maroun waren sehr hilfreich und sicherten, dass wir eine erinnerebare Erfahrung in Florenz haben. Sehr empfehlen!

Staff was very kind and available to help as much as possible. Reasonable price. We even had a guest staying with us for just one night and it was perfect! Busy street but not too much noise at night. Safe area to walk around even during dark hours. About 15 minutes walk to the historic center. Comfy bed. Lovely room, private bathroom and even a cute terrace. They seem to keep the whole place clean and sanitized during these hard times of Covid concerns. We stayed for 4 nights and felt at home, safe and tucked in! I would HIGHLY recommend to family and friends and I will definitely go back next time I'll visit Firenze. Hopefully, very soon!

Der Grund, warum ich 3 Sterne stimme, ist, weil ich nicht in der Lage war, eine anständige Dusche zu nehmen, weil das Wasser blockiert wurde und es nach 5/6 Minuten zu überflüssig an den Boden. Sie müssen einen Piloten anrufen, da alles im Toilette blockiert ist. Ich ging zum Spa, auf den ich wirklich wartete, und ging dann in ein ”Hot Tub”, das kalt frischen! Das Salzzimmer war kalt in sich und das Dampfzimmer war nicht einmal dampfend. Das war enttäuschend. Ich habe dem Empfangsmann darüber gesprochen und er sagte, er würde jemanden anrufen, morgen früh zu kommen, um es zu reparieren. Angesichts meiner Erfahrung im Spa war es schrecklich, dass die anständige Sache, die das Personal mir hätte geben können, als Dank ist eine kostenlose Sitzung. Aber ich habe nichts davon. Insgesamt gut ist keine schlechte Lage, da es Busse in der Nähe von dem führt Sie direkt zum Stadtzentrum, aber Bitte kann der Manager einen Piloten rufen und reparieren diese blockierten Duschen.

A Tuscan escape, private villa style experience, great service, very attentive and extremely pleasant staff, great breakfast, lunch and dinner, beautiful pool, landscape, views of hills and city of Florence. Need a car to be able to go anywhere, or be willing to be a bit adventurous and take a public bus that stops nearby on the highway and requires a bus change to go to Florence, but on the way back goes directly to the resort from Florence (you need to learn the name of your stop and tell the bus driver to stop there, as busses only stop if they see people waiting at the stop or if a ypassenger requires it). The busses run every 20-30 min according to the time schedule (you will be given it) and take about 10-15 min to get to and from Piazza dela Liberta in Florence (look it up on Google map). Taxis are always available, will cost about €30 per trip (10-15 min ride). Remember, this is a villa style resort outside of Florence. It was beautiful, we loved it.

The I Gigli shopping center is a few minutes walk away, and its proximity to the Asmana spa makes it perfect for relaxing weekends. It is ideal for visiting Prato historic center and other wonders of Tuscany, and is a great starting point for hiking and biking tours.

Das Rezeption Personal war besonders gut. Das Zimmer war ok. Wir beschlossen, im Restaurant zu essen. Die Wächterin war nicht wirklich interessiert. Wir warten und warten nur auf das Menü ankommen. Wir bestellten unser Essen, das relativ schnell kam, die Suppe, die aufgelistet war, ähnelt keine Suppe, die wir je erlebt haben. Die Eiscreme, die ich nicht essen konnte, war unglaublich. Die Wächterin war verschwunden, wir konnten überhaupt nicht über dieses Thema reden. Nachdem wir fast 600 Kilometer in der Wärme dieses Tages reisen konnten wir nicht warten, weil wir so müde waren. Am Morgen, als wir die Rechnung fertig gestellt haben, fanden wir, dass sie bereits genommen wurde und der Empfänger wollte nicht verstehen und bot uns zwei Bier, eine kleine Entschädigung.

First and foremost, the location of the Anglo American Hotel is superb. Situated in the heart of Florence, it offers easy access to the city's major attractions, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. The hotel's central location made it convenient for me to explore the city on foot and truly immerse myself in its rich history and culture.
The hotel itself has a charming and elegant ambiance. The interior is tastefully decorated, combining classic elements with modern touches. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems.

GGuest UserWe spent 3 night in 3 different cities on our trip. This was our favorite hotel on our trip. Beds were super comfy and the place was very clean. The staff went above and beyond for us as we asked for recommendations for restaurants and they made reservations for us and sent us text messages once they were confirmed. The best part about this place is the courtyard. Gorgeous. We would grab a drink at the bar and then go out to the courtyard to enjoy it. There is a hot tub out there as well but we did not use it. Bartenders were all very friendly. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but more than close enough to walk to everything, which we did. No need for public transportation to get to and from the hotel. High recommend!

AAnuradhaBreakfast can be much better. It is an expensive hotel but their breakfast buffet doesn't have fresh fruit, poor cheese selection and they also don't serve multi grain bread.
For some reason, i felt like the staff were serving the Europeans faster.
Also, at the hotel reception, the staff will give you incorrect information regarding the city tours and hotels. Please be careful

GGuest UserThe hotel couldn’t be better. Participants have their own apartment which comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if you are on your own, pop for a one bedroom for a extra room. This is especially nice for a long stay. I had a room on the ground level. It opened up to the patio which has a nice sitting area and tables and chairs. I often took my lunch out there, or a drink after a hard day touring in historic Florence. People do smoke out there, but not very much. The rooms are clean, clean, clean and there is housekeeping service every three days. Linens are bright white. The property is located a block away from the T2 Tram Line which gets to the historic area in about 10 minutes. I would stay here again.

Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und man kann die Klimaanlage gut selbst einstellen, leider hat ein Föhn gefehlt. Außerdem war in 4 Tagen kein einziges Mal der Zimmerservice in unserem Zimmer, um sauberzumachen. Das größte Manko ist der Pool! Er ist leider viel zu klein für alle Gäste des Hotels. Darum muss man einen Tag vorher einen Zeitslot buchen, an dem man für 2 Stunden einen Platz am Pool hat. Doch auch dann macht es leider nicht wirklich Spaß, auf der rooftop bar zu sein, weil es trotzdem viel zu voll ist. Äußerst schade, da das Hotel stark mit dem schönen Pool wirbt und man ihn kaum nutzen kann. Auch enttäuschend, dass für den Preis dann nicht einmal das Frühstück inklusive ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, man ist in 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt.

GGuest UserDas erste Zimmer im Hotel (Zimmer 105), das wir abends erhielten war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Es war mehr ein Loch als ein Zimmer (più un buco che una camera), schmutzig, die Wände fleckig und verwohnt, das Bad vergammelt, die Duschtür schloss nicht und man setzte das Bad beim duschen unter Wasser. So sollte man ein Hotel neuen Gästen nicht vorstellen (müssen?). Am zweiten Tag erhielten wir - allerdings erst nach unserem Protest - ein anderes Zimmer im 5. Stock des Hotels, Zimmer 516. Dieses Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber, und auch sonst fast wie man es erwarten darf. Aber auch in diesem Zimmer läuft das Wasser beim duschen teilweise ins Bad, weil die geschlossenen gläsernen Duschwände einander nicht genug überlappen. Das Frühstück ist gut, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels ist günstig, sowohl was die Entfernung zum Flughafen, als auch die nahegelegene Strassenbahn (Linie T2) zum Stadtzentrum angeht. Die Übernachtungskosten sind für ein drei Sterne Hotel viel zu hoch; wegen eines ausgefallenen Fluges mussten wir für eine (1) Verlängerungsnacht sage und schreibe 160 € (!) auf den Tisch legen (ohne Frühstück). Vergleichbare B&B Hotels, auch 3 Sterne, in Düsseldorf (einer bekanntermaßen teuren Stadt in Deutschland) kosten um die 70 € pro Nacht, und zwar inklusive Steuern. Zusammenfassung: Das Hotel ist gerade noch o.k., aber vermeiden Sie das o.e. Zimmer 105.

CChu maureenIch kam früh und die anbietete, meine Gepäck auf der Rezeption zu lagern und sie brachten in mein Zimmer, das ist schön.
Es gab keine Unterrichtung über das Frühstückskonzept bei der Eincheckung, sie nehmen Bay Sie wissen.
Mein Zimmer ist ein Endeinheit mit einem Einzelbett, das für mich gut ist, das Badezimmer ist angenehmen groß, und ich genieße das Badezimmer. Dusche ist auch gut mit gutem Wasserdruck.
Ich fand ein Paar Slips in der Tür des Bettwäsches statt im Kleiderschrank, sie sind komfortabel.
Die ganze 3 Nächte, die ich ohne Wi-Fi geblieben habe, konnten sie nicht reparieren!
Der elektrische Ausgang hat drei Loch, so müssen Sie den spezifischen Adapter bringen, da es keinen USB-Port, um Gadgets zu laden. Ich habe meine im Badezimmer geändert, als meine zwei Pint-Adapter dort arbeiteten.
Kein Kettle im Zimmer, aber sie lieferten mir liebevoll etwas heißes Wasser, als ich ihn gebeten hatte. Am zweiten Abend sagten sie mir, nach unten zu gehen, um es zu bekommen.
TV hat internationale Nachrichtenkanäle außer CNN, aber das ist ok für mich.
Aufzüge sind effizient.

Die Lage ist in Ordnung, 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, aber es gibt keine Geschäfte in der Nähe.
Das Zimmer ist super klein, vor allem das Bad ist super klein und die Raumhöhe ist sehr hoch. Die Fenster sind altgrün, was ich persönlich schön finde.
Die Schalldämmung ist durchschnittlich, aber die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig (hahaha, morgens zwitschern die Vögel, die Ökologie ist sehr gut, aber Anfang Mai gibt es Mücken….)
Das Frühstück ist auf dem Dach, man kann die Aussicht sehen; nur das übliche italienische Frühstück, kein Speck, sondern nur Würstchen…

Location!! Amazingly placed in midst of city at a walking distance from main train station, from main attractions and walking from all great eateries. Staff was very friendly and helpful, very quick response on Booking messenger and very kind for every ask. I wanted to drop my luggage in between my two trains and it worked smooth except some running back to station due to shortage of time of-course. Hotel reception was prepared to take care of my luggage and the same worked smooth when I left luggage the next day on check-out. I did not manage to open my hotel door due to lock mechanism but hotel staff was quick to arrive even at 10 PM and was pleasant in greeting. Room was tidy and spacious. I missed having an elevator in hotel with heavy luggage, apart from that ... everything was super good.
