Holiday Inn Express Flint-Campus Area

This was not my first time, and I love the amenities. BUT, this time I stayed at a 2 bed Grand Presidential Villa I was disgusted! So many issues, and not one person compensated me in any way! When you spend that much and are considered to be presidential you expect certain level of accommodations. The spiders were literally crawling all over the walls inside and out that my kids and I had to run after the sun went down. The fridge was in the middle of the kitchen floor, which hadn't been cleaned the floor was not swept, spider webs all over the place. I paid to have a jet tub, did not get it. Though the main bathroom the toilet was full of feces and would not flush. I am 3 weeks past my stay and still waiting on my $115 deposit to be released and additionally want my money back or partial refund for this outrageous stay.

If there are more than 5 stars, I would. My coworkers and I were spending the night to volunteer for Mission of Mercy free dental care day. From the moment we checked in, we were treated so courteously by the manager. All of our rooms, 3 in total, received complimentary upgrades. We asked for “to go” breakfast the next day, because we had to leave by 5:15 AM. She went above and beyond by calling the breakfast supervisor to see if she could come in early to prepare us warm breakfast. Miss Deb, the breakfast supervisor, came at 2 AM to prepare full breakfast for us. Thank you! She took care of us so we could go to our mission full and ready. We were so grateful for the superstar treatment we received while we stayed there. We felt so appreciated. The room itself is so clean. There is nothing to complain about. Truly, great hotel, awesome staff! Thank you!

This is a very nice hotel. We were on a bus tour through Michigan and this was our first stopover and our last on our way home. Except for a snafu with our rooms not being ready when we first got there, the rest was smooth sailing. The beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and it was kept well stocked (sometimes hard to do when you have a whole busload of people eating around the same time). I would definitely recommend this place!

I was traveling with a large bus group & we stopped for 1 night going & coming. We were greeted by the friendly desk clerk. Our rooms were clean, bed comfortable & great pillows. Had gone downstairs that evening to get coffee & they were out. The girl behind the desk made a fresh pot as they have coffee & hot water for tea all night. Breakfast was Ok with eggs cereal pancakes but the best was the cinnamon rolls. The coffee is very good also. Would highly recommend.

This is my second stay here, as I have family in the area. This hotel is fantastic. It's new, clean, bright, and just feels "fresh." The staff was REALLY nice and friendly and helpful. I have stayed here twice, and will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in town for a visit.

Excellent hotel. Front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. Alex, the sales manager is awesome. Very professional. As a midnight shift travel nurse, it can be challenging to find a hotel that will work with you in allowing for checking in before the standard typical hotel check in time of 3-4pm. Ive stayed almost a dozen times the past couple months and Can honestly say I’ve had a great experience, every time. Rooms are always clean. Sheets and towels feel/look new. The breakfast is always fresh and consistently quality. Melody does a really nice job running the kitchen. I look forward to seeing her after getting off a works. Always greets me with a smile. Fresh coffee and cold filtered water always available.

This hotel was very nice for our bus group of 40. The beds were fresh and beautiful. The rooms were very clean. I loved everything about this hotel. They were short staffed when we arrived so it was hard for everyone. All in all, a great, friendly, place to stay.

it worked for sleep, at least it was quiet. there is nothing to walk to for eats. Flint was rather sad in our opinion. be careful of one way streets when driving, there are lots of them here. hotel a bit run down, most likely because of the area. we saw way too many closed down stores and shops here.

The morning we checked out, we left a note on our key card and gave it to the Gentleman at the front desk with our phone number asking the GM to call us. It has been 2 wks, and I have spoken with more than 4 team members, all promising a callback. We still have had no call or response to emails sent. Highlights of our Stay: - We booked our room months in advance for the CRIM Race. - Pre-check in online for a 3 pm check-in. - Arrived at 4 pm, waited 30 + min to be seen, updated about a staff shortage, and told our room would be ready in 1hr. - Returned at 5:30 pm, waited in line for 30+, and told it would be another hour. - Went to dinner and came back at 8:15 pm. - Waited 30+ min to be seen and was told our room was still not ready. The front counter was covered with room slips and keys for rooms ready. Pleaded to allow us to have one of the rooms ready & standing by. Finally given a room. - Immediately went to bed. At approx 10:45 pm, we were beyond startled & woken by a group of 4 people laughing & walking into our room. Jumped out of bed in fear & started screaming at them to get out. The front assigned them to our room. When I called the front desk, the woman said, "It is not my fault; the other girl didn't update her rooms; what do you want me to do about it." - We checked out and left at 5:45 am, beyond frustrated & disappointed by the lack of decency. We did not trust leaving our items in the room while gone. The lack of response or concern is beyond disappointing.
