I stay here every time I come to Fayetteville. Friendly staff, clean and safe.

Came in to visit my son for four days. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the room was just what I needed.

The hotel has just undergone a major renovation. The rooms are clean and fresh. Each hotel has a kitchenette and a coffeemaker. There is also coffee 24/7 in the lobby. Beds are comfortable too. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Cons: Nowhere to sit in your room should you prepare a meal. There is one chair and a desk so one person sits, while the other sits on the bed or stands to eat. The chair is not on wheels and hard to move. There are also no common areas for people to gather. I booked three rooms for graduation and we had to meet outside in the parking lot. I have to go back to move my daughter out but under the circumstances may stay at another location. They do give a small discount if you are a U if Ark student parent but not during graduation.

Very nice remodel. Clean and modern. Projects is not quite finished yet (hallways still in progress) but the rooms are well done. Close proximity to University of Arkansas for games etc. at a good price point. One note, dogs are not allowed in the hotel.

We have stayed at the Fayetteville AR Candlewood numerous times over the past 4 years while visiting our daughter at UARK. We appreciate their doggie friendly policies. The rooms have always been very clean, the beds super comfy, and the staff wonderfully friendly and helpful. While they don't serve breakfast, their little food store is very reasonably priced with a large selection of items, unlike some other hotel chains who have ridiculously high prices on the food they sell in their shops. The coffee from Candlewood's always hot-and-ready coffee machine is not only free but actually very good and I'm fairly picky about my coffee. My only complaint is not novel to the Fayetteville Candlewood, but to the hotel industry everywhere: For "big event" weekends (graduation, college move-in, move-out, big games, etc.), the prices sky-rocket breathtakingly high from their usual prices, including at this Candlewood. This always feels like price gouging to me and leaves a very bad impression. I believe there needs to be some kind of regulation so hotels can only charge a limited percent beyond their usual prices for "event weekends". Parents shouldn't be prevented from being able to come see their child graduate from college because they simply can't afford a hotel room. That said, I acknowledge the staff at this particular Candlewood has no control over this industry failing, and I highly recommend this Fayetteville Candlewood which except for "event weekends" is reasonably priced, and offers friendly, helpful staff, and quiet and clean rooms.

There are better places to stay for the same price. Hotel is rundown and poorly maintained. Had two rooms and both had TV issues. Worse yet, both of them smelled, one from the garbage disposal and the other from the open freezer door. Tried to air them out and asked for clorox to kill the disposal but they didn't have any. The bigger issue was their lack of feel for customer service. My son goes to UofA and came to see his grandfather who is in a wheelchair and in recently poor health. We sat in the lobby to talk but were told we couldn't stay there because Sean, the manager, would see us on the security camera and tell us to leave. I explained that our rooms were small, our TVs didn't work and why were were meeting but the lobby attendant said it was only a matter of time. We told him to tell Sean that we would only be there for a short time and that we were not bothering anyone since it was Saturday night and no one was checking in. Didn't matter, Sean called in a while latter and said we had to go to our rooms or leave. Hey, Sean, get out of your parents basement and off the creepy security cameras. Have some feel for what is going on in your hotel by listening to your employees who were there and didn't really think it was a big deal for us to hang out in a lobby that was not busy. The Graduate is a much better hotel with a welcoming lobby.

My experience was, obviously, much different than those giving 1 or 2 stars. I give 4 instead of 5 because it is not a Hilton or Marriott, but for the price it is exceptional. I had a one bedroom king. The extra space was great, but the bed, sheets and pillows were exquisite! I slept better for 2 nights than I have in a long time. All of the employees at reception were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again, especially if promised the same bedding.

We stayed here while moving our son into the U of A. Good location and spacious rooms, but overall would not recommend. They do not offer a breakfast which most in the area do, however this is not a deal breaker for us. The AC unit was SO LOUD! The need vents in both rooms! It did eventually cool the bedroom when we turned it down so so low! There was a noticeable gross stain on the carpet at the door, NO SHOWER CURTAIN… how do you shower, and only one towel! Then to top it off there was a bug in the sink in the morning.
