This is a hidden gem in the heart of the University of Arkansas Campus. It is a small hotel, having formerly been a sorority house. I have stayed there a few times, and have had a business event there. The facilities are lovely and nostalgic, the staff is extremely pleasant and pleasant and goes the extra mile, and the location can't be beat. If you need to go to Fayetteville, this is a charming and terrific option.

I stayed at Carnall Hall three times this summer. Different room each time. It's a very cool, historic building that has served both as dorms & classrooms for U of A. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are comfortable and clean. Hallways are a bit hot and humid in the summer. The price is on the high side considering the rooms, but you're paying to stay in a very unique building right on U of A campus. And, the restaurant - Ella's - is FABULOUS. Worth a stay just so you have an excuse to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner there!

We stayed in room 103. Small but cute and very clean room. It was a little humid but that’s probably just due to the age of the building. Amenities were nice. Please note that half of the rooms on the first floor are adjacent to the long front porch. As such, the windows look directly onto spaces where people mingle (walkway, tables and chairs, swings). One of the nights we stayed, a bartender was stationed on the porch outside our room, about 5 feet from our window. We weren’t notified ahead of time that a wedding reception would be held outside our room. The window coverings are decorative slatted blinds. They do cover the view but you could hear the bartender during his time there, and the guests who were having a good time outside and in/out of the door a little ways down the hall. It was over by 10pm but was uncomfortable until then, especially when it was time to shower and you could see porch shadows on the other side of the ba the room window.

Ceiling light not working, no full length mirror, fan speed of ac unit could not be controlled. Toilet water flowing even after tank was full.

We had the accessibility room and it should be turned into a storage room. Located in the basement of the dorm. You could hear the entire kitchen staff walk the wood floors above early in the am. Don't plan to sleep past 6:00am. The room is dark and being in the basement of the building it was depressing. The room had a very musty smell.

I have stayed at the Inn at Carnall Hall a few times over the past years and each time is always such a lovely experience. I love the location and being right on the quad. The porch with the rocking chairs is my favorite and I always enjoy relaxing there with my book in the evenings. I have eaten at Ellas table a few times and it always is a great meal. During my most recent stay we had such a beautiful king room overlooking the beautiful green quad, it was comfortable, clean and the air conditioning worked well. We were there during a wedding so it was a little loud but we didn't mind. What made my stay really special were the kind and caring people who work there. One night I went down to the hostess and asked if there was somewhere I could fill my water bottle and she took it to the kitchen and filled it up for me. We appreciate the hospitality and will always continue staying at Carnall hall when in town!

My wife got bit by a brown recluse spider while in bed at this hotel last week. She is still suffering from the bite over a week later. Just want to make sure people are aware and take a minute to check their beds. Also the hotel didn’t seem very concerned about this when she told them. I would have expected more attention and I would have expected them to check up on her health (she was staying alone). Pretty disappointed in how the hotel handled this and also spiders should not be in beds if the sheets are regularly changed.

The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable, and we love the charm of this boutique hotel. Ella’s Table restaurant on site is so good. Plus just sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch is a relaxing way to hang out with friends. Elliot at the front desk is always a pleasure as well! We look forward to staying here again very soon

I’ve been in a dorm converted to a hotel before. It was not a good experience. I expected the same this time but I was far more than pleasantly surprised! The bed and pillows were as good as I’ve ever experienced. I’ve stayed in castles, five star hotels around the world, and presidential suites. I would put the Inn right up there with the best of them for the comfort of the bed. Another feature I really appreciated was the AC. What set this place apart was the Uber-quiet ceiling fan and AC that really worked and quickly. No need for ear plugs! The covered porches out front were awesome. Complete with benches, rocking chairs, and tables. Great place to enjoy a decent cigar and read a book. One minor complaint: the room doors are not solid. I had good neighbors, so it wasn’t a problem. But a solid door would be an improvement and would add a layer of security. In short, any time I’m in Fayetteville, I’ll stay here.
